Why everyone is attacking Too Human's graphics? - Jul.-5th-2008 10:14:58

Status: online 		Seriously, the game is not the next Gears but the graphics look decent enough and in some parts, pretty good. In previews, I've heard them call Too Human's graphics dull, weak, last gen and other stuff but after seeing this vid, I'm convinced that either their build was really old or this video is for another game!

Seriously, some of the more crowded action scenes look awesome and the huge enviroments and many effects look good. The frame-rate is mostly good too.

What do you guys think about Too Human's graphics?

Yeah, the graphics aren't as horrible as some previewers have mention and have many nice touches here and there. Gameplay is indeed the most important part and I think as the Dennis himself says in the video, Too Human is really misunderstood.

Just look at the poor guy. The way he looks at his game in that vid. Just like his child

Did you listen to Dennis on 1UP Yours this week? I found it was really interesting even if he does go over the top sometimes.

I am willing to give Too Human a chance but I don't think it will be as good as he would like to believe.

Also, agreed about the game. It doesn't seem to be as good as the man wants but hey, it's like his child. Plus, the game looks fun and seems pretty deep.

The graphics aren't bad, they are just average. Nothing really exciting about the graphics. What is bad though is the animation

"Hardcore" 1. graphics 2. gameplay

"Core" 1. gameplay 2. graphics

Megaman 9 is a great example of the Core separating from the hardcore as well.

Status: offline 		Simply because those that complain about the graphics are suffering from "Gears of War-itis". Any game that doesn't deliver on the overly metallic roid rage look of the Unreal 3 Engine simply fails in their eyes.

Status: offline 		For a 80 million dollar game, it looks pretty amazing. A little worst than marvel ultimate alliance but that is okay. Why aren't people compalining more about the graphics. The intro opening scene looks worst than most high calibur ps2 opening scenes, that were in engine. The animations are from 2 generations ago, and half the levels are rooms that are pure grey, with not one rock/anything in the level except walls, and imaginary walls, and enemies. Every level is just barren.

RFOM2 graphics are underwhelming. The first screens looked amazing, and then it was pure mediocrity.
