I haven't been on this site that long but it's real easy to see this ****/GTAIV (etc. etc.) is a nuisance. When this person or any other PS3/360/Wii fanboy creates a flamebait thread, why do you guys lock it and not just delete it? You can still read a locked thread so their pathetic message is still out there. Just curious...

We lock and delete.  Oftentimes a member will not check their PM box so if a thread is simply deleted without a period of lock then they create a mimic thread and ask where their first one went.  Locking the thread before deletion gives the OP (as well as new members getting acclimated) the information.

Additionally, oftentimes a thread is there for info purposes and once a question is answered it is locked but left so that others can see the info.

Oh yes I didn't think about the people that would keep posting the same thread not knowing it was deleted. Thanks for the reply btw.
