Wii games in November(for Europe) - Wednesday, November 04, 2009 5:21 PM
Well there's actually quite a few new games landing on the Wii this month in Europe, a lot of them have already been released in the US(one a year ago!). The list so far seems to be:

Rabbids Go Home
Need for Speed Nitro
Muramasa
A Boy and his Blob
Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles
Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World
New Super Mario Bros Wii

I have some interest in all of them but I don't think I'll have time nor money for all of them(especially with the 360 and DS I want as well). Which ones would you recommend the most and is there any other title's I've missed?

NSMB Wii is a definite buy though...

I ended up getting Rabbids Go Home today, NFS: Nitro will have to wait but I think I'll eventually get all of the games.

Rabbids Go Home is a great game though, really wacky and funny and well designed with the Wii in mind. It even has it's own channel for dress up contests! and you can customise your Rabbids and take screenshots at any point(like Super Smash Bros Brawl) and share them online with friends. The only real downside is that the game is really easy, but it doesn't really diminish how fun the game is, plus you can enjoy it with younger gamers.

As I'm pretty sure you're aware, I would've suggested Muramasa, Tales of Symphonia 2 and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles.

I'm staying as far away as humanly possible from Rabbid games, however. With any luck, others will follow suit and the Wii will eventually get a decent Rayman platformer instead. How is Nitro, anyway? Is it more Most Wanted than Carbon?

The Rabbids Go Home is awesome though and Michel Ancel is directly involved, plus they said they'd be returning to Rayman after this, plus there's been a 'Rayman DSiware' patent seen recently so Rayman may be returning quite soon.

As for Need for Speed Nitro, it's a pure arcade racer... but the Cops are back in it and it's just blisteringly fast(first NFS to run at 60fps) . Probably the main draw of it though is that it's four player splitscreen, even on the Campaign mode. Also the game makes no attempts to be realistic with even the cars being stylised(and the fact that you can warp them to change their shape).

I'll still be getting NSMB Wii and possibly one or two of the others games anyway.

I picked up Tales of Symphonia 2 on friday, good game but the difficulty spikes when it comes to bosses is terrible. I picked it up because it was only £30, plus it was actually there. I'll have to pick up A Boy and his Blob and Muramasa on Amazon when I get them.

So I'm still picking up New Super Mario Bros Wii on Friday as well and I don't know about Darkside Chronicles. I want Spirit Tracks next month after all! Ahhh... too many games! (No one ever thought they'd see that said about the Wii) ;)

Haha no, overall it isn't hard but the difference in difficulty between the bosses and the dungeon immediately preceding them is ridiculious. My complaint isn't about the level of the difficulty, it's about the inconsistency.
