I really think dogs are very intelligent and they are loyal, so I think that the dog is mourning the loss of his "master".

I absolutely think animal's have emotion, and intelligence.  I knew one crazy christian *I really don't like religious people* that truely believed the only beings with souls were humans and therefor dogs, cats, monkeys.... none of them could have emotions because they have no soul.  Absolutely stupid if you ask me.

So... yes, I do think animal's can "feel" and are intelligent... but it's all relative to the size of their brain.  That's why I don't buy small pets anymore... lizards, snakes, mice... they don't show any emotion like a dog or cat does.

dogs are very loyal so I do believe that dog is morning the lost of his master, but if it was a cat I'd say it's just waiting to get fed
