anyone from these forums playing bf2?

my username is farsendor my gaming pc is being repaired so cant play right now but i will once i get it back.

I've got Battlefield 2142 but I rarely play it, I play CSS, DoDS and some mods for the source engine most of the time.

BF2 was excellent, so was the expansion.

But I haven't touched either since TF2 and COD4 hit the scene.

I thought Crysis would pull me away from such games, but nobody seems to play crysis much compared to COD4.

Since I got my rig upgraded to run cod4 at a decent level, I should give bf2 another go.

you gotta come play some TF:2 with me and BrotherNick sometime :D

i used to LOVE playing BF2 and BF2142. but, TF:2 has got such a stranglehold on me right now. BF series > CoD series.

i want to but i have problems with playing online. the game loads up and all and single player plays fine but when i join a multiplayer match online, it would quit after loading the level. then it says something about punkbuster kicking me for having inadequate o/s privleges. i think the game has pproblems with vista

ok i have a new machine its vista has 1gb ram 7300gs graphics card duel processor but i dont know if it would run bf2 can anyone let me know what they think on this? found out my motherboard fried on one of the cheaper alienware pc

been trying to play star wars battlefront 2 but it wont let me run it without turning off sound and i get very bad lag online.

but really if it wont play star wars battlefront i dont think it will play bf2

try downloading the demo first just to see if it works. i have vista also and the game runs fine on my pc.
