ok im a cell phone newb and was just wondering how to install apps in blackberry curve and do i need extra storage for those apps?

Yes yes and yes.
YOu will need more storage if there isnt enough on your BB. You will need and internet plan to access the store or else itll charge you by the byte(I wish I was joking). This will very much increase your monthly phone bile usually by $25-30

As for the apps themselves, check out the RIM website.
