So my ps3 went to sony today to be fixed how long does this normally take? It was broken but I still miss it.

Yeah thats what sony said but Ive heard shit about it taking longer so I figured i should atleast check it out

If you haven't got it back within three weeks, then call Sony and see what's going on. No real reason to call them as of yet.

took me about a week and a half. If they sent u the box with UPS ground, they recieve it next day with UPS Air. I tracked my package code every day lol, but it was fixed within 4 or 5 days, and i recieved it about 4 days later. would've been 3 but the UPS truck got delayed. hope you get it soon.

I hope so to I miss COD4 and the new maps came out and I wanted to play them so bad. Plus I had just bought Army of Two and didnt even get to play a second of it. Man I wish It would not have broke. I found out that the new firmware is whats supposed to be causing the problem I was having.

what happened to it? mine crapped out friday, 5 minutes after i bought uncharted and an hour after i downloaded the new cod4 map pack.
but sony did tell me it would take 4 business days for shipping alone, but i do live in canada.

its not the firmware sony have solve blu ray fragile len in ps3 yet i think the new models in 40 got kem-400aa series lens more durable to extent hours of gaming

Man I had the same problem as you,problem occured on thursday when the call of duty 4 map pack came out. I think ever since that firmware update 1.30 for COD4,it messed up my console. Now I have to wait for my box to come so I can ship it out ASAP for GTA4. Shit sucks bro,,cant play nothing,,I hope I get my ps3 back soon and hope to get my 80 gb back.

I second that. Right after the COD update my system started going crazy. It would freeze up, my headset stopped working, the controller died and it all came crashing down when i picked up GTA4. I rushed home popped it in and nothing. No games were showing up in the xmb man does that suck. Hopefully my coffin shows up soon

I shipped my ps3 on april 28th arrived at sony on the 29th I will receive my new unit friday may 9th it is in transit with ups and on time that is only 11 days my baby is comming home. In the words of lil john yyeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
