Journey A Rage Official Thread

Journey is the third game from Thatgamecompany, in their 3 game contract with Sony it is a unique tittle in that it is a game that attempts to make you feel small, where other games attempt to make you feel like the ultimate badass. Like their other titles Journey is a game that conveys emotion in a medium where such things are a rarity. I hope you all support games like this, so we can push the medium forward.

Honest Answer:
It's an experience. I admit, my mastery of the English language is not good enough to convey it's beauty, so I won't insult it by trying. 


I'd recommend giving flOw or flOwer a go. Those games also convey the same feeling.

Flower is def worth it, it's a pretty good "experience" turn up sound and sit back. There is a story in there also lol. 

flOw was incredibly fun. Challenging at times too.

Flower is amazing i suggest trying it, one of the best games this gen.

The game is about atmosphere and the experience, watch the videos in full screen with headphones on and you'll prolly understand. Relaxing, yet engaging.

You can do the points thing or you can buy the game with your card then delete the info off PSN.

I bought a 20$ card for 15$ from amazon <3
They emailed me the code right after i payed.

I'd recommend just checking ur local store(s) n buying a card.

Yeah I just realized while looking for some. Still would've been better if I could just use a paypal account to drop some funds in my wallet. XBL and Steam lets me, dunno why Sony doesn't let us do this

I been gaming a long time and fresh games like Journey are the reason i'll probably die a gamer. Glad to see developers that always design games with true imagination.

The online encounters with other anonymous players sounds incredible, like nothing we've ever experience before. If you buy this game, I admire your acquired taste in video games. Journey is day 1 for me all thanks to an angel on my friends list who recently gifted me with $20 on PSN.

Will be downloading this as soon as it hits the PSN. I'm glad it's getting great reviews.

Demon Souls begs to differ. 


But never the less, Journey will truly be something. 

I somehow always knew this game would (possibly) receive the highest scores for an indie game to release this year.  Granted we'll have to wait and see how well Fez, The Witness, and other obscure games will do.  I wouldn't be surprised if Journey gets a GOTY nod from me; only other indie to get that was Braid.

I've never played Demons Souls. From what I've heard about its online interactions, it sounds very unique, as does Journey. Just read about this guys experience with another player in Journey.

flOw and Flower are extremely overrated. Good, but overrated. Using the motion controls is literally a pain for me. How can a game be relaxing when you have to move all over the place? Journey looks boring as all hell, too.
