So odd that you would make this thread today; how coincidental. I've been in this Beta for quite a while and stopped playing for about a month or so. Picked it back up on Friday and hit the XP cap on all 3 days. Game is a blast, really enjoying it. This game has gotten miles better than when I first joined.

@IrishGuy - I wouldn't say so. I've bought some things because I wanted to help support the game as I was quite enjoying it and find myself not really using the items all the time. For all the stuff I've seen so far there is an option that is almost as good or better than the paid version.
It kind of works in tiers, I'll try to simply break it down.
AssaultRifles - The standard is what the others are all based off, with the other models being modded up or down to make variations.
Tier 1
AR
AR with high Dam, low RoF
AR with burst
AR with high RoF, lower damage
AR+: only bought with AUS (bought with real $) - slightly better than all
Tier 2: You may need to upgrade your skills to be able to access these
AR2 - better than the AR+
repeat
So while the AR+ (as I'm calling it) is the best of the group, the next level of guns are all better. That's kind of how it works for everything.
