Dead Rising on PC Hi ZeraTolerance,

It is me your only fan from Slovak Republic :). I wonder when PC version of Dead Rising shows up. Do you have som special source for that information. I been looking all over the internet but no news, only that some one sued the Capcom for similarities with G. Romero Movies...

Thanx Men,

Stay Zero:)

Fist let me say that I come in peace!

Still going through the Fondling part, but I'm glad to hear you guys step back and realized some of the Playstation titles that you missed last year, during the "The PS3 has no good games phase". Like I said before I'm a big fan of the podcast but when I you consistently hear there are no good games and you've played all of the titles that some of you listed, you wanna call BS. Hearing your responses to Folklore, Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank, it's true that seeing is believing :P. Over the past year I've had friends who've played 360 games and now that they have a PS3 they're seeing what they've missed and their loving it. If you look at some of the unique and original titles and the innovation that the PS3 has done in 2006 - 2007 and now 2008, you can't help but get excited for what's coming.

Zero yeah I follow the  podcast around and it's not just you I'm a fan of the site and the show, I just started singling you out because all of these solid titles that are coming out for systems other than the 360 and you find a reason to not give them a try and I think you're really missing out on some games.

I'm not trying to pick on you here but if you can find the time to give sega tennis a run for it's money for $30 bucks but not Crisis Core or God of War COO for $10 more even on a handheld, I think you're really missing out.

Handheld or not, play games not consoles

I played through Uncharted last year, I am picking up Folklore as soon as I find a copy.  I do not own a PSP so I don't plan on playing either of those not to mention if you followed the show so much you would have heard my comment that when God of War CoO comes to PS2 (which it will) I was so there.  You obviously aren't following the show otherwise you would have known that I tore through Uncharted last year, I raved about Folklore when it came out and I have never been a fan of Ratchet so I don't intend on playing it.

zero I heard that comment what I'm saying is you need to reconsider handhelds and start playing some of these games that are not coming to ps2.

You should have a PSP and DS.

You know what I'm not trying to fight with you, I'm talking about trying out some games.

you would enjoy killzone liberation, and you can play the game co-op the entire single player with wombat.

I am not trying to argue either, but what is so hard about understanding that I do not like portable games?  I have owned two PSP and three DS systems and I simply cannot get into portable gaming.  Hell I didn't play Twisted Metal Head-On seriously until it came to PS2 and I am a HUGE TM fan.  I play every console game I can get my hands on, but portable gaming just doesn't entice me the same way, and I see nothing wrong with that nor do I see where it makes me not open to other games.  I have probably logged more hours on portable systems that I hate than most "hardcore" gamers have logged on their favorite console.

To the Boogeyman: (and shame on the rest of you for not correcting him ) Folklore is set in Ireland, not Scotland, and if my girlfriend hears you say it's in Scotland you may well lose a testicle, so just a friendly head's up.

But anyway, great show and I'm glad you guys hit the 2 hour sweet spot. I look forward to next week.

I just got home...so thank you for the correction on "Boogeyman" SilPho.  I was unsure that Folklore was set in Ireland since it really doesn't say where I'm at in the game or maybe I missed it.  I figured Scotland because I visited the "henge" which I thought was Stonehenge which is in Scotland.  Sorry for the misinfo  As to hendyman...if you want more good music from "The Boogeyman" you can (enter shamless plug here) go to my website www.myspace.com/thefeastofthedead for all the latest.  I'm working on my new CD, "The Root of All Evil", as we speak which is due this Oct.  If you don't get on the my space thingy, Zero is kind enough to post most of my latest stuff at the end of the podcast when I do a new song.  Cheers and thanks for listening to both my stuff and the podcast!

Hmmph...always thought it was.  Never been there myself. (obviously)  I remember talking to a friend about his trip to Scotland and he mentioned seeing stonehenge, but maybe he meant while in Europe.  Good thing journalist aren't required to be geography majors eh?  Not that I wouldn't have done some location scouting, but one day I was planning to make it up to see Stonehenge.  Imagine my face when I got to Scotland and it wasn't there

thanks SilPho!

I'm just passing the GT5 Prologue section and I have to say that was a pretty good debate, I really enjoyed it. I understand both sides but I do think that it's been proven that this game is more than a demo and when compared to most full priced games on the market it's leaps and bounds ahead in terms of visuals, content and gameplay from what I'm reading.

I think it was wombat who has an issue with it, but I can kind of understand where he's coming from seeing what GT as a series was in the past, this seems like a demo, but I think you would be hard pressed to find any other game for $40 that does as much as prologue does so you're not looking at the actual value of the game.

I look forward to getting mine next week though.

The Wombat just needs to stop looking at it in terms of a demo and take it for what it's worth, which on its own, will very well be a deep and solid racing title.  He looks at this situation in the fact that he thinks Polyphony is men of their words and will get GT5 out in time.  If Prologue was released under the name of GT5 he would buy it, but since he looks into an unforeseeable future with this title refuses to buy into it just because it's a preview of what's to come.  And he calls himself a GT fan  Of course I only say this because I won't be there this week to have it out with him again

Nevertheless, more GT fans are on my side of this and the sales will show

I was iffy on picking up the game recently but the latest videos sealed it for me and the whole 60FPS sounds crazy. I'll probably leave it running when people come over to visit, but I'm torn between downloading it or getting the disc.

I would rather just have it on the HD so I don't have to go looking for the disc when I want to play it.
