Yeah I did, but I don't remenber hearing Hale talk before. Most of the time he just grin be silent and the entire game was narrated by that Brit chick.

No i am pretty sure he spoke in the first 1 i recognized his voice. I think the water just looks ok. As for the screenshot looks like they got their inspiration from independence day. The game just looks fantastic. Though not much has been revealed but given the success they had with the first game, sony will be sure to give them a higher budget to try to make R2 into a successfull sony franchise. You can just tell there will be SO much more going on in this one. 150 foot boss battles, even crazier weapons, excellent and recognizable scenery, 8player coop. Given the experience these guys have with the playstation 3. This being their 3rd title in about 2 yrs, the upgrade in graphics at the very least will be similar to ratchet and clank. I really don't care at this point if it runs at 60fps as that is just a plus. I wish they had shown gameplay but since it was a teaser trailer i guess they successfully teased us

this may sound a little crazy, nut i think im looking forward to this more than GTA, Haze, MGS4, Home and LBP!!! its going to be awesome! especially online!

So a sequel can't be better??? Oh well....

The first game was not AAA that said it was still very good... I liked the story.... and the weapons were very kool I can't wait to see this next game...

Well the honest, and logical answer is that I haven't really seen enough of the game to make a judgement either way; though because it is an insomniac game; and they developed the first one; which just seemed like a "we want a halo/COD on the PS3, sort it out insomniac" kind of affair - I think I'll probbably end up passing.

There was no launch title on the 360 that can match resistance. The real reason reviewers didn't give Resistance the glowing score its because it came out right next to gears. Gears of war was better than resistance and it offered a blueprint for what a next gen game should be. Insomniac have improved their graphics engine a long way since resistance 1 and trust they have made even more improvements since ratchet and clank. So there really is no reason to expect this game to be lame. It will be better than the first. The first wasn't bad it was good. However the second will be better than good, it will be great.

who gives a **** what system it is on... as long as it is good... it is to bad fanboys can't see past just there system...

I like my 360 when I had it... I am so missing Settlers of Catan that game was very addictive and it was fun...
but really what do fanboys get out of bashing other gamers system and games... I mean does it make the feel better... is that they need a hug... we are all gamers here and that is the common element...and that is enough for me to want to talk to other games about games not a pissing match on systems and games...

This thread isn't going anywhere until June 13th.

In any case, this looks like it's going to be everything Halo 2 will be. I bought that game day one to defend the Earth, and I only got 2 whole missions of it.

This game looks like it's finally going to give me the oppurtunity to play a game where it feels like a war and that I'm defending the Earth against an overwhelming destructive force. You lok at all that and you ask, how the hell am I supposed to win.

Anyways, reserve you "how good" the game is/will be/looks etc until the gameplay reveal, until then I think just the mood and atmosphere and the shift in tones from the first and second game should be discussed.
