Resistance 1 was a good title, not great but the best PS3 game for nearly a year, certainly better than Killzone, so the sequel should be a good game and hopefully it will sell better than Killzone 2 because it deserves it

Not surprisingly I'm still gunning for Killzone 2. It's probably because this was just a teaser with a spec of a cutscene to be seen only.

I also dislike Hale's narration. Parker from R1 was better.

Parker was cool in the European invasion. I think Hale's narration will suit R2 just fine. As for the debate about if RFoM was a great title or not. The singleplayer was okay but the online component was where it was really about(meet me online any weekend). Looks like they are gonna make all aspects of this game great.

I disagree with all of that. I preferred the SP by far, and I think Hale is a terrible narrator based on just the weakness of delivery from this teaser.

I had a great time with both. SP on Superhuman was so much fun and online was great too. I think I am looking forward to SP and 8 player co-op more than MP right now for Resistance 2.

Agree with you 100%. If they add vehicles though, it would do a lot in getting me back into that multiplayer.

I have to agree with you... I have to have a great Sp game.... Multiplayer to me is just a bonus...

You can't beat a FPS with an excellent story and gameplay

RFoM online is great I enjoy it more than COD4

. The first game basically was Parker telling us what happened. I'm glad to see them take a new direction and have some 1st person narration and I think he willl do a darn good job too based on the teaser. Dualshock 3 is awesome in rfom online too. I also think you may have given up on Resistance online too easily. You really get to love the game the more you play.

I personally didn't enjoy COD4 online too much so i would say both onlines were about equal. Hale is a kind of mysterious character so to sell the story, they will have to rely on the characters he interacts with. It would have just been a lot easier to tell it from the perspective of the biritish chic imo. My fear is that hale will suffer from identity crysis and be stuck with some mega corny one liners

I like Hale's voice.

It's fresh to change the perspective now to the character whom all this stuff is happening to in the first place.

er, nice logic there....

I would think what should 'deserve' to sell better between R2 and K2....is....brace yourself....the better game of the two.

i don't see why people give so much credit to cod4 online...i've played it at least 300 games, theres nothing truly amazing about it really. The clan system is a joke, the party system is a joke, and the skill factor is extremely low---who ever shoots first wins essentially. Its almost guaranteed you will have a positive kd as soon as you start playing the game.
