For the topic Bloodmask got it right because people do buy EA games and a lot of games too. Yet for all the bad they do as far as releasing the same game yearly they do offer some new stuff and oddly enough some enjoyable games that aren't part of their sports division. EA is a rather large company that makes enough money to back up there growth and have been in the process of buying up companies not just to stop competition but to further their own collection of games and genres.

So yes EA exists because millions of people buy their games every year.

Why does this topic even exist. If you'd use your brain you can understand why EA exists. They're a developer, they are in the industry to make money.

Do they care if they step on toes and hurt feelings? No, they most certainly do not. Their goal is to make their investors happy and produce capital gains.

They are in a consumer business yes, but their main drive is not to please us gamers. However, they do need to please us to some degree by making games that are enjoyable enough to where people will still buy them.

EA exists to make money and to make games.... and this thread is no longer needed as the OP just wants to create a controversial flame filled thread...
