the 360 sales along with Wii have started to decline, it will be a while before they reach 1 million, by the time that happens, EA might have already gobbled up Take Two and obviously would do something to let ps3 owners get the DLC to make extra money...they'll probably release versions of the game on all platforms just for the cash..even freakin ps2, PC, and Wii, with a special GTA4 gun peripheral for the Wii...

EA WILL MILK ANYTHING OF ALL ITS LIFE FOR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its like talking to a wall, ok one why hasn't this been lock cause your like a freaking troll, and now my rebuttelle.

1. I don't care if you know 1000 people at your school, less then those 1000 are gamers, so even if you could get answers from every single on of them your talking about data from a possible 16 million population from less then 1000? ya you know what that means, what your friends think doesn't mean crap. Its like going to a catholic school and asking them if they believe in god, if all of them say yes it doesn't speak for the actual majority of the popualtion.

2. How are you a lone gamer able to justify your classification of gamers, by your thing I would be a gamer, cause I rarely buy anything from Live, but I do plan on buying the legendary map pack, and this GTA content cause its from my two favorite console IP's. So don't talk for people

3. You can't tell what they are going to get from GTA, they expected to have 10 million by July but they did it in December, no one saw that coming.

4. Actually Wii has hit a all time high, and 360 is still tracking ABOVE, what they did last year at the same time, when then PS3 was selling like 88k units in a month the only place to go is up.

5. IF EA buys Take two and gets complete control of everything and puts the DLC on every system, you do realize that PS3 only rockstar game is coming to the 360 PC, and prob PS2?

For the DLC to spike live subscrition, wouldn't gamers have to download it first. Thought we were all under the mind set that majority of GTA gamers don't buy it for the story and never finish the game. They just want the sandbox to play in. Now i understand your reasoning on getting ppl to join live as a means of paying for dlc that makes perfect sense, but realistically what percentage of gta4 owners will be downloading that content. I think it will be a pretty small percentage now take into account majority of these dlc downloaders will be gamers who buy gta4 to actually finish the game. The more hard core oriented gamer who is probably already subscribed to xbox live.

we have no idea what the DLC is, what it will add, so we can't say what it doesn, what if it adds a new zone, with new gameplay or something

like i was saying...there is no way, xbox live will get a million new subscribers just to get GTA4 dlc....AND ME BEING A TROLL!!!

you dont think my reasonings are justified in some way or fashion...THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE...I was just being ironic, not trying to start a flame war, if people like you weren't so quick to jump to defend their console, we wouldn't have these accusations. AND, I go to freakin Rochester Institute of Technology, we have a huge gamer base, due to our Game Design & Development program(my major) and our HUGE partnership with MICROSOFT...we have a class dedicated to the business aspect of gaming.

So I don't speak from a fanboyish, TROLLISH, standpoint, rather from the point of a student who is surrounded with gaming, electronics, computers worth more than brand new cars and such...

our school is even ranked on the MPAA list for top 25 piracy schools(even tho its not too much to do with gaming)...to help you out, we're in the top ten, better yet...i'll just tell you we are number 8 there.

it doesn't change the fact that your entire agrument is based on your opinion with no real facts to back you up.

Also I go to the University of Ontario Institue of Technology, does that mean because I know a lot of people who have 360 and play WoW that everyone must be like that? No it means that for my small area of people I know I know people who play a certain thing.

I am also not defending a console, I am defending against stupidity, and you need to look up what Ironic is cause you clearly don't know
