I'm not arguing the quality.

Look back at my personal definition of the word. These games will not sell PS3s as MGS4 will - and I would hardly call AC a flagship, unless people in masses bought their 360s and PS3s for it. Halo is a flagship title, for sure.

Awwwwwww.............

Well I'm sorry.

That term for me is called "system seller" for me a flagship title is a title that demonstrates incredible innovations in game design and gameplay, or exceptional use of technology in both visual and aural aspects.

Metal Gear Solid 4 would be under both of those criteria for me. So we agree, it will be an exceptional game, and will cause people to go out and buy PS3's. Our terminologies were in conflict good sir.

Edit: I lol at your statement because I find it funny that I know people that bought 360's/PS3's for Assassin's Creed because they saw it being demo'd at EBGames :P Hahahaa.

Fair enough.

Quality wise I don't doubt R2 at all, certainly not MGS4, I just donno if R2 will be my cup of tea based on how I felt about R:FOM's MP, but I do not doubt the amount of players who do love R:FOM's MP and will buy R2 for its MP.

There's threads on this everywhere. I'm positive something is going to be done. Tomorrow there's the Ryan's report and with all this feedback, he'll be forced to address it.

I recommend staying tuned to his podcast.

Since my opinion is alrways right because I was inherently born a God. Let's start with some things:

1. This is "F*CKING" stupid. Honestly, if this is only for the beta, I'm fine with it. THey're using their own system to gather research data, statistics, feedback, whatever. If I have to see this crap in the official retail. NO SALE. This game's online isn't nearly a quarter good enough to jump hoops for. I'm interested in Metal Gear because I need to finish the story I started about 15 years ago when I got MG on the NES back in a time when I didn't even live on this continent. I speak only for myself (and anyone who can agree with me) when I say that this is not a way to attract a western audience. This is just bloody stupid.

Like I said. If the official retail uses PSN ID's and everything is nice and integrated, I don't have a problem with it.

2. Resistance 2 is a flagship online title because it'll showcase the breadth of the PlayStation Network unlike any game before it. End of story. People lining up to buy a game has nothing to do with how good the game is. Marketing does that. There's no arguing this, you can't make a counter-point. You won't change my mind so don't even attempt it.

3.......I usually don't agree with Suko. But he's right. This is an embarassement. Sony is letting a third pa rty mess with them and their system. Maybe Konami has them by the balls with MGS4's exclusivity? who knows.

First off, did you just call me SUKO??

Second I totally agree with the part where you said: " This is "F*CKING" stupid. Honestly, if this is only for the beta, I'm fine with it."

If it is only the Beta..Then I don't care. Plain and Simple.

Lastly the part where you said: "Sony is letting a third party mess with them and their system."

That's pretty much my whole point. While this is Konami's doing, Sony needs to recognize that this can be seen as a glaring weakness in PSN if this system makes it to the retail release.

Oh my God, what a glaring, bad, typo.

I DID call you Suko, but not intentionally. It was a typo. :( Now you think I am a bad person. I'm sorry.

This nonsense is actually worse than i thought. I battled with konami servers for a fvkin hour before it let me register. I type in my psn name as my konami id and my game id. Not only is my psn name unavailable but apparently you can't have the same konami id and game id. Then when i try again fvkin server crashes
