Yes,they are bad,but that's their job.
Maybe they like it:being bad at what they do.
But they did give Crisis Core a top review(but it was on psp)

Yea dude why do you care what gs gives it? Its just an opinion(even if it may be bias). Enjoy the games dude and stop feeding into the console fanatic propraganda on the web.

in my opinion it started with either heavenly sword or lair both of those games could have been a little higher rated.

Actually, I started question GameSpot after that Ratchet & Clank review. In fact, GameStop was my #1 site for reviews before anything else. Anyway, all the other major gaming sites were giving it fantastic scores while they (GameSpot) dropped it. After that Gerstmann incident, I just stopped looking up to GS for reviews whether they were good or negative. I just can't trust such a site anymore...

Anyone who considers gamespot ratchet review fair is an xbox360 fanboy in my book. No ifs no buts.
I still respect Gamespot though. To be fair, GT5 is only a prologue and gamespot does seem to have wierd taste. Shadow of collosus, MGS1 and a lot of other games have been given lower reviews and this was long before ps3 era. So i don't think they are fanboys, they just have a certain quality for games. They did give assassins creed a high review which i thought was complete B.S.
Anyway like i said even in its weak state as a prologue, GT5 is better than 90% of the racing games on the market.

Nothing wrong w/ a fanboy. Its the fanatic part that bugs most people. The ppl that grab in the air for things to prove their console of preference is better. Like... OH SNAP XBOX PWNZERS PSTRIPPLERS GOTTA WAIT 5 MINUTES TO PLAY.. HAHA PLAY BEHIND

the review system is broken because of fanboys. what's sad is when professionals become fanboys themselves.
what's more sad is that they can't hide it, as hard as they try, it shows. just like gamers who try to hide their bias, afraid to stick up for their choices.
fanboys are the only ones that seem to care so much about the score because it's like ammo to them to fling at the other side.

Man, you know as well as I do the the only people who give a **** about review scores are us. The hardcore. the average gamer doesn't know and doesn't care. If they did, there's no way in hell 50 Cent: Bulletproof or Enter the Matrix would have sold like they did, and games like Beyond Good & Evil and Okami would have been blockbusters.
