Well a racing game without damage is worth nothing IMO. Hopefully GT5 has damage, im the kinda racer that would rather P.I.T. another car sending him flieng off the track with glass flieng everywhere rather than doing a simple painless draft...I make em feel pain as i pass them. guess thats y i stay away from go kart racing

Stupid question. Why can't Motorstorm 2 look like this? It better be thats all I can say.

more importantly, M2 better have better loading times. That problem really ruined M1 for me.

I thought a patch came out that cut load times in half for Motor Storm.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?

GT5 has the best grass imo. Hills look like crap but the grass on the tracks are better than forza at least. Forza grass looks like PES2008 grass

so you're saying GT5 has the hook up eh?  Word on the street Mr Nice Guy is trying to cut into GT5 profits

hahahha, am i the only one that got the half baked reference?  thats hilarious....

on topic: great game but frustrating that you cant tune until you get to the top, also i wish there were online for us people who still have crap cars on there

ah so you can only tune up once you are on top?  Top of what?  I just got on B class and I hated having to buy that stupid Suzuki Cappuccino.  I mean really.  I wasn't even paying attention so when I got the cash I bought a Lotus only to find out I had to actually spend money on a weak arse car.  That's the worst feature evar

lol. i have to save up 220 credits to buy a ferarri. I am also trying to get all the cars so i am trying really hard not to sell them. Most cars actually go for less than half the value you payed for.

oh for sure not even half   I was just going to sell that Susuki but they only offered 3k for it!  So I thought might as well keep it.

I agree with you on wanting all cars that really sounds fun and I wouldn't want to sell off a car either

Yea just keep an eye out for all the cars you will need for a race. So far my favourite car is the corvette. Cost a ton but it is the best american muscle car in the game. I previously bought a mustang which i ended up not needing. So just keep an eye out fo rcars you need. Also try to check out online racing you get a lot more credits playing onlin than you do playing sp. Online is pretty crappy and hopefully it gets better. The 2 million credits for the F1 ferrari is looking like a pipe dream right now:(

Can you still have the blue line in online play?  Do you get more credits even if you don't place well?

edit: 2 million!  Yicks.  Actually the next car I want is an Aston Martin it might not have any races for it but if money wasn't an problem for me I would so buy one of those

Well blue line is online as well. You still get more credits if you don't place well. I have never come first and i can't remember how much i got for 3rd but i remember i got 9000 for 6th place
You really don't get the big bucks till you get to A class. There is a 5 lap race on the daytona race way you get 20,000 for first place there. This is basically the quickest way for quick money but till then online racing is your best solution

I'm not sure how damage will help GT5, this isn't Motorstorm you know. The main focus of this game is not to get hit, and all the messed up cars running around the tracks will ruin GT5's prestine car porn image.

Yea i get your concern but after playing online i have to say damage is vital. In SP mode not so much but in online definitely. Its because of damage they have that dissapearing rubbish.

well if they don't want to show damage at least have the cars start to run like they are damaged.  Run head on into a wall but only can go 10 mph afterwards or something but still look nice

Yea they need to have both imo. Another change they need to make is they need to speed the game up. As it is, 200mph feels like 100mph. Game needs to have a much faster feel

I think GT5 totally break down online, and they're damn if they do and damn if they don't. Instead of bumper cars what you'll get is a sim version of Burnout. People don't avoid each other with car damage, they'll just run into each other even more because car crashes are cool. Just watch, the game will be a griefer's paradise. Thats the problem with "serious" sims when they get online, people don't play the game for the spirit of the game they play to win. The Madden franchise had this same problem for years now, with all the glitchers, on side kick, and various cheesers.

This is a probably a sad statement but as an online game Motorstorm is A LOT better than GT5P.
