I can't really understand your point.

EA paid off the NFL, NCAA, and AFL in like 2005 or 2006 so that they had exclusive rights to make games for them, and this past year(2007) they extended it to 2012 or something like that, maybe more, maybe less.

This is wrong, the NFL came to EA for the deal. It was their decision not EA's.

Would you expect less?EA are paying for the goods.How could they miss that?
It would be ridiculous if they just let the competition acquire their strongest selling
point.Because official licenses DO MATTER.

If you look back.Yes,you can say that they did pretty much everything that they could possibly do.
But they might just have a little more staying power.

not to say you are wrong or anything, but why would the NFL seek out EA to ask them to have exclusive rights to their license, and what about the AFL and NCAA?

The NFL wanted exclusive video games from one company so they offered them up for bids. Take Two didn't want to pay for it so EA stepped in and made a bid. As for NCAA if I am not mistaken it was the same deal..the AFL...does anyone really watch that? LOL

Family Guy>>>>>>>good,but definitely lacking class compared to The Simpsons.
EA=Labelled as evil for no real reasons except that it is successful.
