Yeah I really don't think the Japanese care now that they have monster hunter for the psp and dragon quest coming for the ds. Personally I think the only good rpg coming to the PS3 soon is FFXIII and possibly KH3. Fable 2 just doesn't hold up well against those beasts. Hell, I think the Wii will do better than the 360 with Monster Hunter 3 though. Even though I researched it a bit and I really don't get the hype of mh though, seems pretty repetitive and pointless. But handhelds will always be the best place for RPGs, and it all started with pokemon.

I am not an RPG fan but I have to agree with Odion.  There are a number of QUALITY RPGs already on Xbox 360, the idea that some people insist that games that haven't even been played by the general public are better is a sheer matter of hopefulness.  Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are amazing games for that genre, couple with Oblivion, Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata and the upcoming titles such as Star Ocean 4, Fable 2, and the rest that were announced I would say right now 360 is the RPG console of choice.  That may change, but ignoring such great titles now does nothing but keep gamers from enjoying quality games because they are on a particular system.  Which is the number one thing wrong with the industry right now.  Play the games that are grand until the rest land on shelves.  FF13 may be great but why wait over a year to play a game when there are so many out now to enjoy you are simply only hurting yourself.

Sorry but by naming Oblivion all your arugment is invalid because it shows you do not know which are great RPGs.

well said there   So many awesome RPGs are layed to the wayside because they aren't FF   Heck even Persona 3 for the PS2 that just came out last year was killer but no one looked at it.  Plus like some have said the handhelds truely have an intense line up of quality rpgs plus they even have a few Final Fantasy's in the mix as well.

No it means I have an opinion and I am not influenced by trends.  Oblivion was a great RPG and I don't even like the game.  It's all about opinions and after reading several of your other posts my guess is that if anyone's is different from yours then you proceed to tell them they are wrong.  Don't expect anyone to listen to yours if you are arrogant enough to tell anyone their opinion is wrong.

Hello? Oblivion is the worse RPG ever made by Bethesda and its total suckage when compared by The Elder's Scrolls III: Morrowind.

While Oblivion was good its a FACT that its a downgrade from Morrowind. If you played both you would know.

you putting Dragon Quests and any new FF up there shows your lack of taste as well, while ES4 is not as good as Morrowind, it doesn't mean its bad at all.

This folks is why ZeroTolerance is the man. The fact that he has ever been called a fanboy because of the podcast is laughable.

Well said ZT.

I'd be scared to think what people would think of Final Fantasy when it moves platforms.  What would be the good RPG then?
