[LOL] Yeah. I thought it was cool movie, but yes, there are some bad things about it. Could've explained how it got here at least, [LOL] my happiest moment of the movie was when the camera dude died, and I was like "Kick ass, no more killer shaking camera thing," but [LOL] I couldn't be more wrong. But overall is was a killer movie, hopefully they explain what the freak show was going on the the sequel, that is if they make one.

Why the heck would you care to get this movie on blu ray?  You do realize it's filmed with a $100 camcorder you can get at your local wal-mart right?  The film quality is bad, and it is meant to be bad for a reason.  It being in high def won't make it look much better.

But... I have to agree with all the Cloverfield lovers, this movie was bad ASS.

If you really and truly thought that movie was that bad, then why are you even here?

And I know everyone is entitled to there own opinion, but CLOVERFIELD WAS INSANELY AWESOME!!!
And you have no taste for quality movies.

It's one of the best movies that's ever been made, in my opinion.

I LIKE PIE!

Sorry, I had to do it.

FAIL......"Filmmakers used the Sony CineAlta F23 high-definition video camera to film nearly all of the New York exterior scenes."

Source:Wikipedia

Sony presents the CineAlta F23 HD camera for professional uses. The Sony CineAlta F23 is the latest 1080p (1920×1080) camera, which supports 1080/24p format, from Sony.

Yet you failed to mention this....

quote:

The film was shot and edited in a cinéma vérité style,[19] to look like it was filmed with one hand-held camera

Regardless what they actually used... the end result still looks like it was shot with a $100 digital camera at wal-mart.

UNfail.

LOL....Damnit B Man you can't unfail my fail it's just like how no tag backs is an unspoken rule.

Yes Swede I loved the movie and I am bummed it's not on Blu Ray...Not surprising though since it was scheduled to be HD-DVD's big hitter before the Epic Fail happened.

I always thought movie theaters screens look like crap compared to HDTVs.
