I'm getting it for the 360 mainly for the achievements -> DLC -> online play
but if it turns out that the game is lagging/stuttering more than I expect, I'll be switching it for the PS3 version.

Well i imagine they will get some home support with which will come accomplishments but home release date is a mystery and i wouldn't advise banking your purchasing decision on that.

i just say home will be done whenever its done sony is giving it for free so ill be happy whenever it releases but xmb we should have already had that.

but on gta4 i will get ps3 version 5-10 months after release ill just find it cheap on ebay might take a little longer than that for price to go down though.

yo dark sniper and whoever else is getting the ps3 version lets play multiplayer together add me begxforxmercy so we can play more games too like resistance2 and haze co-op and the metal gear beta

Yea most likely. My friends are getting ps3 version because thats all they have. I honestly have only one friend i actually know with a 360 so since my friends are getting it i pretty much have no choice if i want to play online

There are enough stupid threads about this crap without another one being made, and the fact that he's going to waste his time looking at a comparison video to find a difference just shows that he's not worth dealing with

if you got a mod 360 you can download GTA IV on thepirate site more like a full game so if you want to play my friend got a mod 360 he said graphics isn't as detail as everyone think it for the 360

Either, doesn't matter much, 360 has DLC, but if you aren't planning on getting it, it will make no diff. Unless you are scard of RROD.

I'm getting the PS3 version b/c I have a PS3 right now. I read somewhere that GTA IV will get the HOME treatment but I wouldn't bother so much with that since HOME keeps getting pushed back. You should buy the version that most of your friends will be getting.

Sure, most of my friends have 360's. But I say F them because I'd rather play GTA4 with the original controller and original system.

Besides, Im saving my heavy use for my 360 when Gears of War 2 comes out. No screw-ups before then, not one second before.
