Yeah, they make you do it in the storyline the first time and then you'll be able to afterwards. Unless you can find TW@ by yourself (hehehehe), which I didn't because I was too busy doing other stuff.

Edit:

Anyone else's PS3 fans ramp up when playing this game? Mine are normally dead quiet no matter what I'm playing except GTA now.

lol, i played for the first time online. fun as hell. i'll try to make it out more often but i really want to finish the SP story as well.

Nah my fans are just fine. I'm guessing its those of you with faulty GTA copies.

You guessed wrong. Fans speed up when the cache is overloaded for an extended period, and this game does that a lot quicker than others. It has absolutely nothing to do with faulty copies or machines, it's how the game is. It also depends on where your PS3 is and its temp.

It really makes no difference to gameplay, and if it did, then there would be a heating issue with the PS3 that would need to be looked into. (problems mainly being an extended amount of frame hitching where this does not occur if the fans are low-speed)

easiest way is to go through a road block to an island you havent unlocked yet, if you unlocked all the islands, umm, cheat codes?

What I did was go into the subway in Algonquin and start shooting anything and everyone down there. Soon enough madd cops keep coming down and trying to take you out. I went to the farthest post and hid behind it and took out anything that came my way. Using gernades helps a lot too.

After a lot of kills you'll be on 6-Stars in no time.

To get a 6-star wanted level, first start with pestering a police station with RPGs.

Then, evade and cause as much chaos as you can the whole way....then find an easily defensible area (small room, alleyway, etc.) and just kill the cops as they arrive on a constant basis like on an assembly line.

You'll get six stars eventually.

If you have a 60GB, then get used to fan noise, because there's a lot more hardware on the motherboard than the other SKUs.
