Here's an interesting 4-page article which not only shows sales figures for the Wii, but more importantly adresses the myth that 3rd-party titles don't sell on the platform:

Japan (they love the 1st-party titles!):

US (3rd-party titles outsold 1st-party titles for 2 out of the 3 half-year periods beginning mid-2006):

EU (3rd-party titles sold pretty evenly w/ 1st-party titles during the same period):

It was locked but the title has now been changed to reduce the chances of inciteful and argumentative behavior. It'll stay open as long as it remains civil.
