I just use ISO Hunt to torrent all 360 games apart from the select few that you can't get on PC like Halo 3

I wish NG2 was on PC too, but it wont be

although I have heard someone suggest that you can get a 360 emulator and then the torrent the 360 versions of the games too

I only torrent 360 games that I can't own for obvious reasons, and i've only done it a few times

Having to pay a substantial fee to play your console online would also have been unheard of without Microsoft

Besides, if Microsoft managed it, I'm sure someone else could have done it, too... Live was just Microsoft taking the Dreamcast's ideas and running away with them, (EDIT) and improving them in the process.

im happy that mods on here actually let us go against their opinions a lot of websites i go to the mods are like elitists or something you say anything against their opinion your suspended banned or another mod comes and defends that person.

That's a fair point, but only really applies to Microsoft's forst party games. If you pirate a game, the effort the developers put in to making that game is taken for granted.

Now, if it's a game that's already made more money than it deserves anyway, like Halo 3, then I think the industry can survive.

well i guess some part why sony is behind on online gaming is because the Japanese don't seem to get online gaming or something phil harissin mentioned it once saying its hard to get any online plans cause of the japanese side of things. so it wouldn't be scee scea fault if the japanese can't grap online game play.

Funnily enough, one would have thought that, sonce the Japanese are miles ahead of the West when it comes to technological build quality, and just about every other aspect of the games industry, that they would have nailed online gaming.

Maybe it wasn't included in Ken Kutaragi's "vision" or something like that (sometimes I don't get Sony).

Btw, since this thread's already severely off-topic, I'm going to justify the hate I've given Microsoft, by saying that if anyone's "harming" the game insustry, it's Nintendo, and the companies jumping on the Wii bandwagon (EA).
