Well...the PS2 got four.

Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XI and the expansion packs
Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Version.

X-2 isn't a main stage FF and really shouldn't be talked of either

Best combat system in the series goes to Final Fantasy XII imo.

XII's combat was fun till you got the gambits you needed then it became the worse combat of the series

You could always turn the gambit system off.

I turned the system off. The combat was not the main issue with FF12 - it was the appauling story and character development IMO.

Game would have been slaughtered by reviewers if it had not been called final fantasy.

If you did that it wouldn't be the FFXII combat system though.  The story for it was also a bit stale there was build up that never went anywhere

I thought we were talking about combat system guys...not story. If we're talking about story then I'm sandwiched between Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy X.

Aww that's even worse   X good story?!  Really

I don't think we are talking of one thing other than Final Fantasy   Combat, story, characters, areas, etc.  If it's Final Fantasy lets talk about it

I thought X had a decent story! the Sin element / path of a summoner / religion thing really worked I thought. Had a much more fleshed out back story than any of the other titles.  The characters were a bit weak - I'll admit though.

Sorry no I did not like X's story, characters, linearness, or thought the ending was sad.  The only good that came of X was the endgame dungeon.  For me at least.
