But think about it KillerWolverine everybody wanted a GTA game with realistic graphics and dynamic so they decided to implement a realistic driving style that is similar to the real world. If ur gonna blame it on someone blame it on Rockstar.

FF8 - Just like Gambus I got right to the final fight and just couldn't find the inspiration to train up and finish it. Never did beat that game, nor 9 come to think of it.

FFX on the other hand I thought was great, almost as good as VII in my opinion. Was surprised when Zero said he'd rather just forget about it.

Personally if I could forget a gaming memory, I'd forget about the Metal Gear Solid series, because then I can play it again. Some of the best "WTF" moments come from that series, and I'd love to go through it all again without knowing the plot twists.

That is a really good take on the idea, I wanted to do that with Uncharted so I could experience it again.  I'm not sure what it was about FFX that kept me playing, the further I got the more I despised the characters, the story and the game.  Hell at least no one can give me shit saying I didn't like it because I didn't give it a chance

We may need bodyguards too...

I could probably help you out there as well, I'm 6 foot 6 265 lbs and a former MP in the ARMY, but anyway I agree with KW reality has no place in any GTA game the rest of the experience is so outlandish in nature that to throw in realistic driving makes no sense.

I agree with that one Dahalofiend, I do blame Rockstar.  But if they wanted to make a realistic game then they should have done more research.  Ive already explained my view on the car controls (thanks Silvanos for backing me!!!) but what about when Im stabbing the bejesus outta some poor civilian?  If it was realistic, the cops would hunt me down instead of letting me get away.  And once Im caught, I wouldnt walk out of the police station (or hospital if I decided to go down fighting), I would go to court and tried for murder.  So can we expect that in the next GTA?  GTA V: On Trial.  That game would suck as hard as Boogeymans mom.

I definately don't think any realism should be brought into GTA. to me thats what makes it fun. I didn't like "gt5: glorified demo" because of the realism. Im not a racer. If GTA is realistic on the driving then i don't think i'll pick it up. Whats the point of pulling an insane stunt like flying through the air hundreds of feet up and landing fine BUT... if you land in the grass, then oh shit, your gonna spin your tires and slow down.

Hmmm that would b an interesting idea for the next GTA, but i highly doubt that Rockstar would b able to pull it off.

Your right...and since madden is supposed to be the most realistic football game why don't we use a mini game to shoot up heroin or go and take HGH!? And then we can get a DUI or go off and beat our Wifes? and then we can go into the locker room and shower with the team!

The game is realistic....not real life Mr. Wolverine

Eh.  Whatever.  I dont know why you feel the need to defend the game.  Noone is dissin it.  The car "realism" just isnt needed.  I love the game, hate the car controls.  And Im sick of this subject.  Everyone knows how I feel about it so its time to move on.  Anywho, I hope that you have played GTA online.  How are you liking that?

So far i'm loving the online multiplayer, but my problem is that ppl use auto-aim too fuckin much to get easy kills. I prefer to disallow auto aim is get a much better feel of aiming. The best one i've played is Bomb da Base II what about U KillerWolverine. Can't wait to hear next week podcast

Well I only have really played in free mode with ZT. I played a little bit of cops and robbers with our old friend Prof. Chaos.  But the weekend is almost here and I hope to play the other modes...and of course you will here about it on monday.   By the way, do you have it for the 360 or the PS3?

Speaking of GTA, I noticed that in the 2nd safehouse there is a sign on one of the doors with "Zero Tolerance" written on it. That made me laugh.

First I love the multiplayer on GTA4 there is nothing like doing a drive by with 3 of your buddies on a teamdeath match.

Second I wasn't "Defending" anything I didn't even mention a game in my statement (except for Madden) I was just pointing out the fact that your comment was..."ill founded"

Yeah, the multiplayer is freakin sweet. But as for my comment being "ill founded" well you didnt have to mention any names...I knew what you were talking about.  Look, you have your opinion and I have mine.  I dont agree with you, but I do respect it.  Just know that I am having fun with the game and its the best of the GTA series by far...it just has some flaws that can make the game frustrating.  But I do believe its time to wrap up our little "discussion."  By the way, what version did you buy?  Im going to go out on a limb and guess the PS3 version...
