I used to hate on the DS a lot but its actually a really solid system with really solid games. It simply doesn't have the diversity of the psp. As a gaming machine DS>PSP. Overall though PSP>DS

I haven't been a fan of handhelds since the original gameboy days...but most of my friends and even my family all have a DS and I figure it about time to pick one up.

TBH the PSP isn't even on the radar for me.

Although those God of War commercials look really cool..

Lol i wouldn't recommend buying a psp for god of war. I bought a psp when god of war was announced for it. I haven't touched it since i finished the game. I don't really see myself buying another game for it...ever. However it is a handy tool when travelling. So i will keep it around.

I dislike handhelds in general. Haven't really played a handheld properly since pokemon silver.

The psp is still a usuful tool for me though, i like being able to browse the internet on it and listen to music e.t.c.
Not to mention its remote play functionality. You would probably get one if you could use it to access your xbox while you were away

I actually think the DS is the best system out man. I'm a big fan of RPG's and the DS has that in spades heck Square Enix doesn't want to stop making DS titles. I've been playing The World Ends With You whenever I get a chance! It really uses not only the touch control but the second screen as well. While fighting battles on the bottom screen with the stylus you are using the D-Pad for moves on the top screen. You get your power moves when you do the right chains with the directions of the pad. Getting use to having two battles at once took some time but that's good fun there.

Ninja Gaiden is a hack and slash with fast gameplay and Contra 4 is as tough as it gets in terms of side scrollers seeing that easy is hard in Contra Professor Layton is a highly addictive game full of puzzles, riddles, and trick questions all wraped around a plot line with a barons estate up for grabs, murder mystery, and kidnappings, Zelda is always a great thing to play and the DS version is no exception and that game has cool graphics for sure.

DS still has a lot of steam in terms of upcoming games as well. There is a sci-fi fps called Moon, Dragon Quest IX and Sonic Chronicles which will be great RPGs, a horror game that is about a people dying after they play a certain game, a Guitar Hero game, and even fully redone remakes of Final Fatasy IV-VI and Dragon Quest IV-VI , Myst from the PC, Sim City 2 is coming out and that game plays awesome on the DS let me tell you, even Spore is coming to the DS, and so many more!

Sorry for the read but the Nintendo DS is just a great handheld plain and simple
