the game is a few months away i doubt they even started to polish everything to give u that WOW factor u where mentioning

What you're looking at now (PlayStation Day demo) is pre-alpha code, so it's starting to look quite nice, but I'm quite picky. This is nothing compared to what it's going to look like when it's released. But the look is only half of it.

That is what the dev had to say.

motorstorm 1 was a lot of fun so im sure 2 will be fun also graphics are not the only deciding factor into buying a game.

The game looks good to me, but is that vid in slow-mo or are the physics a little off. I didn't know monster trucks were capable of sutained flight.

it matched the original IMO and it's in pre-alpha, which is very promising

It probably won't win graphics GOTY or anything in the end, but the awesome MS gameplay will make up for it

Motorstorm is the best racer I have ever played- period

Motorstorm was ace, so the sequel should be better. Graphics do not make the game. Example, Dark sector, amazing stare at/or watch somebody play....but it's boring and generic.

There are others I could mention....maybe thats why Wii is selling well? Gameplay/interaction over visual gratification.

played San Andreas the other day to compare to GTA4. San Andreas wins, because even though it looks dated now, the choices and playability was better...in my opinion.

Love GTA4 though, no doubt....

I personally think that the PS3 has hit its limits much like the Xbox 360. Everyone should bow down to the almighty and powerful PC which rules you console boys.

Jkin, I'm looking forward to MS2, hopefully they fix alot of the flaws which MS1 had.

lolz u are funny. dont forget its been only 2 years since PS3 release. You can already see the upcoming games are coming better n better. PS3 hasnt showed the true power yet. wait for Killzone 2, Resistance 2, God Of War 3 n other great games....

The only thing im worried about is the speed of the vehicles. I loved the original Motorstorm but the vehicles were too slow, except the bikes and rally cars.

I think the water looks very good for this stage in its production. I wouldnt worry, the graphics will improve substantially, they will almost certainly improve from MotorStorm 1 graphics, which are still very good.
