ORIGINAL: EL SALVADOR I wouldn't change much in GTA IV. For every one thing R* took out they added 10. I can't believe the hate GTA has been getting from some people here. Factor 5 puts out a bowel movement of a game like Lair and takes less heat. NfS Prostreet was terrible and didn't get shat on like this. The last F.E.A.R. tanked and there are several other games that fit this catagory. For every GTA hater, there are thousand who love the game. To the poster above me, change the camera angle when driving, you have like 4-5 views. Perfect example of invaled complaints about the game. No offense intended. First of all... most of the time, i dont want to play and drive using a cinematic view, ok then what else do we have left. Oh yah, I also dont want to drive with the in-car camera view, not practical doing most missions, what eles is there? Oh yah, the camera angles i think your talking about. Ok well hmm lets see, THEYRE ALL THE SAME BUT the angle probably changes by 1 or 2 degrees when doing this, all is does is it zooms further behind my car. That does not solve my issue of not being able to see in front of myself, except for the one that zooms out the furthest, but heck if I wanted to watch a few pixels on a screen i'd go play mario cart on the NES. I actually want to see my car, not some hotwheels racer Im controlling in game, I want to see the damage modeling and such. And im sorry, but i dont have one of the LG 106 inch plasma flat screens to let me zoom out so much without having that issue, I got a normal 46 inch Panasonic plasma, and its irritating. So then you might say, well zoom it in then if you want to see the car. Well when i do that, it becomes unplayable, because i see too much of the car and nothing on around the sides, so turning while in that view is completly a guessing game, just hope you dont hit anything before you re-accelerate and the camera adjusts back behind you. So all im left is using the balanced view, where I can see the car, and the sides well enough, but that still leaves me with not seeing what is in front of me. So I guess i just have to keep the right stick pushed up slightly when driving. PLZ EXCUSE MY HORRENDOUS TYPOS That still leaves the fact that this game has more camera angles than some actual racing games. I have a 42" LCD and I can see just fine. I use the closest view and no problems. I also like the way the cars handle. They don't feel glued down. I think in general the "in" thing to do now on internet sites is trash GTA IV. they felt glued down in the others? no way, this one feels more glued down in terms of the car flipping over. What i think is, the cars are heavier, but thier tires are made of ice or something...too slippery, like they were made of ice, especially when turning. I never said in the others.
