ORIGINAL: JHFKDFNFGJKFHDKF sure thing. spore - surely I dont need to go into this? Dynamic , emergent gameplay like nothing before - mirrors edge - first person platforming has NEVER been done before (first person action was done in breakdown, but that was in no way a platforming game) The art style and main character are pretty refreshing too. fable 2 - emergent gameplay, one button combat, real moral dillemas, persistant drop in drop out co-op in an RPG, fallout 3 - turn based combat system from a first person perspective, hundreds of endings, unique and innovative tutorial mission and opening cutscene first: don't get me wrong, those games are worth the GotY nominations, but here we go: emergent gameplay - too many RPG's are emerging - oblivion, myst are some for example evolution, birth, marraige, offspring - an extent of tamagatchi drop in drop out co-op in an RPG - Final Fantasy IX did that hundreds of endings - there's too many games to list that had more than ONE ending (now isn't this an EXTENT of something?) first person platforming - another extent of being able to jump in an fps game that's all from the top of my head and i'm not going to waste time finding other games this is for your argument with LBP quote:
i think what its doing is taking what halo 3 did with forge and expanding it. Sure its got more depth than forge; but halo did do it first - albeit to a lesser extent
