Saints Row: I havn't played it but it does not seem to be hyped very much so i doubt it is over-rated.
Halo 3: It is overrated very much, but it isn't Bishock's fault.
Call of Duty 4: Overhyped, but it is one of the best shooters ever and deserves the praise.
Saints Row 2: Not even out yet, not hyped at all. I do not see how its overrated.
Rock Band: Again, it deserves it's praise.
Smash Bros Brawl: Overrated, overhyped.
MK vs. DC: Not out yet, and not hyped that much..
Soul Caliber: Are you reffering to the series, or the next game? Soul Caliber 4 isnt out yet so it is't overrated.
Tomb Raider: Deserves the praise, at least the early games.
Superhero Games: WHO HYPES THESE!?!? They do not deserve to be spoken of.
James Bond games: I don't think these are viewed that highly either, except Goldeneye

Well it depends on your taste in the end, I disagree with you on some and agree on some, but I really disagree with you on Rock Band, what's really over rated is that piece of garbage Guitar Hero 3 (worst spent $100 in my life and again this is my opinion), Rock Band is really fun alone and with a party, and the weekly updates keep things fresh and exciting (specially when they release stuff like a whole album for Judas Priest).

Halo 3 was great - you obviously haven't played the game if you think otherwise.

I played it.. The game sucks.. So does MGS series though.. And many other series.. Halo 3 was a pretty average fps.. Alot worse then alot of fps...

Okay, first of all, the story is pretty much non-existant. The story telling is so primititve (I guess intentionally) that it didn't make any sense, or have any meaning whatsoever. The story was basically, "save the world", with as little dialogue, and cutscenes as possible (except for massive explosions to look cool). The exact opposite of halo CE story.. Second, the level design was heavily linear, and heavily confusing.. Don't know where to go in the flood level, making me spend probably an extra 30 minutes just going around trying to find where to go.. Third the graphics were average, not on the level of majority of other highly budget games... Fourth the multiplayer levels design were significantly worst than halo2, causing me to actually go back in most cases and play halo 2 instead of halo 3.. And fifth, the game is rated 93, which is higher than lot of games much superior to it, like SOTC, Psychonauts, okami, and cod2.

WOW. That is the worst piece of MGS4 hating ever. You know how in splinter cell you could stand in the dark make a noise and take one step back and the guards would only walk up to the point where you made the noise before turning back. Hmmm that is some super smart A.I. I wonder if it occured to him to take a couple more steps.

Splinter Cell A.I. is far easier to outsmart than MGS4 A.I. just make your noise 2 steps back and you are good. MGS guards are far harder to outsmart than Splinter cell guards

While most 360 exclusives are over rated ps3's are not pusheed back beyond.

Ask every PC gamer what they think of Halo and Gears
