funny, see i bought Oblivion because of the high scores and awards and it was one of the most boring games i have ever played.

thats surprising - I loved oblivion. I thought it had a sandbox richer and more interesting to mess around in than most GTA games. But each to their own.

Go play Morrowind.

GTA: Vice City and SA > GTA IV

Halo is a medicore FPS. Everyone knows that except idiots which are mostly americans.

So you listen to kids whom only played 2 GTAs because they were too young.
Only played Oblivion because they cannot afford a PC.
Halo was their 1st PC because they cannot afford a PC.

I played ALL GTAs, All The Elder's Scroll and FPS since Wolfenstine 3D

Now go back to X360 Forums, and before you tell me Sonyfan, Let me tell you Resistance is Medicore and worse then Halo 3 (Better then Halo 2)

Umm, wow. Have you played Haze? I bet you have barely watched any recent videos on it. Do you even have a PS3?

Oh no, you're just are a fanboy in disguise. You see a review of a PS3 exclusive that is really low, then you say dont buy it people, no matter what.. I am starting to think its not about if the game is good or bad anymore, its just about you hating on something any chance you get...

People defend a game when others bash on it.... It didn't deserve a 4.5, but the game isn't amazing to begin with, and thats not the argument here anyways.

At leastthose who DEFEND something are doing so off of experience, rather then the people who are bashing on something who have not played it.

Don't listen to the reviews, go out and rent it and make the call your self, the demo wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either

I'm not a Timesplitters fan either so that didn't really affect what I thought of Free Radical.
I'm not sticking the 4.5 number as the one that should be followed, just in general, a very average score. After playing the demo, I'm not that surprised.

you have not played the game. The most you have played is a demo - which is in no way representative of the game as a whole. IGN have played the whole game - whose opinion am I more likely to trust in regards to the relative quality of the game? Who are you to say what it does and doesn't deserve. And besides - I bet the game looks great through those sony-tinted glasses.

so disapointed, was realy looking foward to this, i never buy sub aaa games as i dont see the point paying the same for a poor game when i can get a quality game for the same cash. if it was £20 id buy it.

And you have played what? What was that again?? Oh yea, nothing. In the demo, you can get the feel of the gameplay, the graphics, etc. Its not the full game, but it is better judgment then what you are going off of, which is nothing, by the way.

And you are going to trust IGN more then anyone else? Why is that... hmmm, I wonder. *thinks* Ahhh yes, because they gave it the shittiest score. Correct? I thought so. The game isn't a msterpisece, but IGN's score is WAY too harsh. Who am I to say it deserves a better score? Well as someone who has played at least part of the game, has been following the game for a while now, has heard and read many reviews, from the media and gamers alike, as well as not being a fanboy, I think I can strongly say that it does not deserve such as low score.

But of course, you are to say it does, because you have not played the game at all. Right? .....

The game might not be good, but it is not a 4.5, and many here can agree on that after playing the demo, and soon to play the game.

You have desperate written all over you, try to hide it up some.

It all boils down to personal opinion. And I won't lie. I definitely let some things go and just blindly believed that Free Radical would make another great game. The Timesplitters series, especially Future Perfect was a blueprint on how to make an awesome FPS with tons of extras.
