I had this game yesterday ZT...
But none the less.
I started playing it and got to a point where I was stuck on the first freeeeeking level !
I mind you that I had been drinking but damn! I went back and forth back and forth and could not move on to the next area!!!
I wanted to jump off that damn waterfall but the game wouldn't let me :(

Anyways besides that I think I am liking the way the game gives you achievements easy 5 here easy 5 there easy 5 everywhere!
The arm and leg and cranial decapitation is pretty sweet I cant wait to start learning even more moves and picking up new weapons and such...
Beautiful trees too btw

Bought the game today, I had to buy 2 X360's to play it (system stolen, rebought it)...

Anyhow, worth the wait, incredible AI and new swordplay moves, ninpo feels more balanced, new finishing moves are so wonderful.

Things I've noticed: much MUCH easier than the first, on the harder difficulty even, awful tearing and framerate issues, really lame to say that I had no issues with the camera on the first game but the camera in this one is making me a bit sickly. Achievements are so easy...and what's with the 'SECRET ACHIEVEMENTS" since they're the ones that we (the fans) suggested?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

I'm up to the end of the 2nd chapter, only have been playing it about an hour, hope it's longer than the first, I'm having a lot of fun already!

Alright past the first two chapters and I do have to say it's pretty wicked.  There will be many moments when you just say aww.  The term hack and slash is now fully implemented with this game as you actually hack off limbs and heads.  I like after you take out a group and you just stand still he'll swipe his sword clean with a swift slash and put his sword away.

In the first one I always used the Vigro Flail and when an enemy was down I always hit Y to lob off there head so now that if you cut a limb off an enemy you can do a finishing move on them with Y just makes perfect sense   The camara is odd and I'm not sure how they could of changed it so dramatically from the first one.  They give you more control of it this time around but there are too many close quarters that make moving the camara yourself difficult plus at times it doesn't want you to control it and have it facing an akward angle...

I like how they set up the save/health system like they did with the DS version.  That makes it all the better imo and the two tier health is cool addition.  You have your health that if turns black you can regain it but if it turns red that is premenat damage you need to use health for.  To regain you health you need to absord orbs and what not plus having all health back at a save gives you plenty of money to buy upgrades over health supplies as well.

I wouldn't say it's easier though from the first one.  The bosses are still frustrating and the enemies can get you.  Specially if you cut a limb off them and you don't finish them.  They are really dangerous then like if you take off the guys legs and they crawl up to you they grab you by the leg and take you down and blow themselves up on you!  Yet like all games once you start getting a rythme down the peons get easier but they always have others mobs to learn how to defeat.

Next question, Who has almost thrown their controller through the TV?

*Raises hand*

In all seriousness the game is tough, but a helluva lot of fun.

Going good with the 2 chapters a night mode   Anyone else playing around with the other weapons?  I'm rockin the hand/feet claws.  They do some major damage one combo ends with your clawed foot in there head and as you pull it away off with there head   I hate those dang dogs but the big pink guys are nothing when it comes to the claws!

Well, can I join the club?

...I also love the fact that everyone on my Xbox Live buddy list have chosen to play the game on the Acolyte level. What's the matter scrubs, is the game too hard for you?

I've rented it for a week so im playing acolyte so i make it through.

Really lovin it now ive got more weapons (im up to level 9) and the fighting is simply prefect.Aside from a few really tough bosses its not that hard either. I should finish it before i have to return it.

I'm renting it on Friday, I'll be playing it on Acolyte as I think it is only a 2 night rent. (Also I'm weak)

I just finished the game. The final boss battles are brutal. Not to mention, the ending credits are spectacular.

Oh yeah? I wouldn't know about that. My first playthrough was on the Warrior difficulty setting.
