my life after MGS4 will start with FFXIII and Versus, and will start again with the all mighty God of War III ... I simply just cannot wait for GOW to drop; the story, the gameplay, the visuals, will be mind orgasmly good

For me, FF13 was the main game that caused me to get PS3 with MGS4 being a very very close second so after MGS4, I still have my big game to look forward to. After FF13 though, there will be GOW3 and tons of other stuff so I will be busy for quite a while.

hiding in boxes is to sneak out and take out the enemy in one quick CQC. Snake is not all brawn guns blazing.. he has intelligence and is tactical.
Cheif's only rambo because he has that regenerating armor. that's not taking it like a man. that's hiding behind protection and a mindless person with a gun.
Snake takes the bullets like a man and if he doesn't have a gun he can still kill. Chief without a gun.... let's not go there...

i agree, 2009 looks like it will be a crazy year, i believe. from June 12th til 2009 is just paving the take-off platform

Wow i didn't know there was so much passion for MGS4. GOW3 is apparently supposed to run in 1080p and 60fps. Most likely, it will be 640p though

Most developers have had a very hard time getting games to run on PS3 and while sony themselves stand in the best position to wow with graphics, when GOW is revealed, IT HAS TO STUN. It needs to shake the gaming world. The transition to the PS3 has to have a significant impact. I just don't see that happening in 2009. I am growing skeptical. If sony couldn't do 8 days then GOW probably won't meet my expectations. Plus the fact they have changed creative director twice and the lead combat guy is gone...makes me a little bit worried

Ferrari Challenge, LittleBigPlanet and Socom will take up most my time after MGS4. Still theres also Motorstorm 2 and Resistance 2 this year.
