sony better get on the game, hopefully the best rpgs are being worked on now since so many rpgs have been coming out on the ps2, hopefully the devs are upgrading to ps3 hardware.

funny how i bought my PS3 for gran turismo 5 and RPGs yet my 360 has been my RPG system...and GT5 well thats at least a year out.

I think there are a lot of great Tactical RPGs announced for the PS3.

I mean, I'm so excited for Disgaea 3.

Well, Jrpg is probably my least favourite genre of game, but it'll be good if the Japanese start taking a little more interest in the 360.

I want MS to get Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. Because I'm really interested in what happens to the sales of the Xbox360 in Japan if Xbox360 gets Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.
Star Ocean or Tales~, I don't remenber the name, are not big compare to DQ or FF, actually I didn't know these titles until today even I'm Japanese. But DQ and FF...everybody knows. I think Xbox360 would surpass Wii in Japan.

Yes Dragon Quest is a massive seller in Japan and if they actually did bring it over to the 360... that would be nuts. Though IX is coming to the DS which I really really like so I don't want the 360 to have it

I give MS credit for trying in Japan, but I don't think their main goal is gaining the Japaneese market, it's holding the PS3 back in the Japaneese market, and that's exactly what they're doing.

They've thrown more money at these Japaneese developers than I can imagine for all these exclusive/timed-exclusive RPGs, and while it hasn't helped them much (or at all really) it certainly has been holding the PS3 back in Japan a LOT.

However, the only JRPG on the 360 that I REALLY want is Tales of Vesperia, and i'm like 95% sure it'll end up on PS3 shortly after the 360 release.

Monopoly by M$ like they are doing in PC Industry but in gaming industry.

I prefer seeing Gaming industry going mainstream like Nintendo is leading it to then Monopoly.

Funny how me and my friends planned to get X360 when its cheaper and introduce XBL here. Its 500 EUR here from Permuim.

Instead with this even if it will be 1 EUR we will boycott Microsoft. They are loosing our money.

Wait, did I miss something? Last I checked the only ones they had really were enchanted arms, lost odyssey and blue dragon. Is there a stockpile of games i'm missing here?

Yea but before xbox live console online gaming was at a stand still. Sony was not going to get off their arses and try something new and risky.
