Yesterday's game was increeeeeedible.
Schweinsteiger pwns the Portuguese again, just like the killed them in '06.

Moving forward, I'd hate to see Croatia win, just because of the fact that we'll end up with a rematch between Germany and Croatia if that happens >_<!

And Spain and Italy looks to be a specccctacle! It sucks that Cannavaro's out for the entire tournament. And not having Nesta around is just another blow to the Azzurri.

Looks like you got your wish. There's no stopping them Turks! Too bad my DVR cut off right at the end of the first period of ET, I had to see the rest of the match on SportsCenter.

That was an incredible finish.
I was excited when Croatia scored, just because it was so late.
And then the Turks score in stoppage time..simply amazing.

I'm with you. I prefered neither team but Turkey was mostly defending... and a truly last minute goal!? I hate those goals.

Also, the best player of EURO 2008 so far is Holland's goal keaper. To those that say Buffon was the best, Holland gave him 3 goals!
In the other hand, Var der sar (Spelling), defended every single shoot from both Italy and even France could only score 1 goal even though they had 3 impossible shots that Holland's goalkeeper defended 2 of them.

Also, Holland FTW!
Germany and Spain are the only other decent teams. Russia also was surprising but against Holland...

I said that because Buffon single handedly made them go through
the qualifying stages.
Van Der Sar is definitely in great shape. He pulled out another great save against Russia.
Man utd players are always outstanding.

Holland is out
Van Der Sar definitly made big mistakes here. Agreed on Buffon though. He was indeed the lone warrior that got Italy past the qualifying stages.

<3 Casillas! Incredible player..and he made some terrific stops through the game, and was simply remarkable in the penalty kicks.
I can't believe Guiza was stopped by Buffon.

..and..THANK GOD Italy didn't make it through.
Now, we already don't have the possibility of Turkey vs. Italy. That'd be quite an unentertaining affair, tbh.

Turkey played some of the best football in this tournament.
Fluid passing football.

That may be, but they only begin playing once there's fire on their ass.
They need to find a way to motivate themselves to play quality football.

Italy did, however, put on a show tonight. One of their better games of the tourney, for sure.

Nope, Turkey has a less aggressive approach which is quite surprising.

Italy: all the same. I'm sure many of their fans will be happy that they made it
this far into the tournament.

My eye is on Russia now.

I gotta be honest, I'm really surprised at how aggressive Turkey's playing today.
It's hella fun to watch!

Looks like we're in for one heck of a second half =D!!

True, some pant-changing moments in Germany's penalty box
