I don't even remember o.o

But if I had to remember one I've took a long time to beat it would definitely be that Battletoads game for the NES alongside Kid Icarus. Actually many NES games had me stumbled for a long time now that I think about it.

Edit: Ghost's N Goblins also manily because you had to start the game all over again when beating the final level xD

Ninja Gaiden on normal... seriously... there was no sense in making it that hard. I eventually got to the main boss but gave up on trying to beat him after countless tries.

Hell CoD2 and 4 on expert was cake compared to that damn game.

NG is a cakewalk compared to its older generation. There's a triplet-clown boss in the Arcade game who kept destroying me, and I'd have to start at the beginning of the game (not enough lives).

Hmm, dunno the name... it was a skeleton dinosaur in a pit of lava or something like that. From what people have told me though, there was like 30 different stages for the main boss... I only made it to the second.

It took me around 10 years to beat Sewer Shark for the Sega CD. Turns out the game is only around 45 minutes long, but god damn I had a hard time beating it.

Honorable mention: Action Fighter on the Sega Master System.

Oh, i've changed my mind on the hardest game. It was actually Steel Battalion. I don't think anyone could beat that damn game without using cheats. I sure as hell couldn't.
