Nintendo for sure... even though I do not like the wii it really has made a huge impacted on the big three....

We will see many changes for the next round of systems....

AS for the other 2 it is hard to say.... they are very close in fighting it out this generation and I think we need more time to see what happens between them too...

Nintendo, is their even any other answer? In a business sense they are amazing, Miyamoto is one of the best game designers as well. But if were talking games....

I don't think this thread is about this current gen but console gaming as a whole.
Nintendo & Sony

MS is still new and they've never dominated a generation yet and i highly doubt they'll dominate this current gen.

Nintendo & Sony are the only ones that really dominated console sales & software to date.
again, we're looking at console gaming as a whole and not by generations.

I would hope that Iwata has the brains to know when enough is enough. With any luck, the money they've gotten themselves with the Wii and DS will be enough to make a pair of consoles next generation that really put Nintendo back into form properly - the next Gameboy and the true successor to the SNES (I honestly don't think the N64 or Gamecube are really up to those standards and are, thus, not counted as true successors). I'd love to see a proper "battle" between Nintendo and Sony. Given how Nintendo's last great console was the SNES, they haven't been able to.

Blizzard. They have the WoW expansion, SC2, Diablo 3 and another game yet to be announced.

Then again most of that stuff won't come out for a long long time but i'm sure they will dominate PC's and make loads of cash.

This is not intended to be anti-MS, but I just don't see how it can be them when Sony and Nintendo have such a strong showing in America and abroad. I think living in America/Canada we get a bit of a skewed perception of Microsoft's influence in this regard.

It depends on how you look at it from a software point of view at the moment the 360 games are outselling the ps3 and wii but if you look at it from a pure profitability point of view then ninty is killing everyone, it has the most profitable first party titles of any company and makes money on all its hardware. where as sony have been posting big losses from it games division over the last few years.

Sony has more than enough profit from the PS1 and PS2 era to cover the losses cause by the PS3.

and the ps2 is still selling strong and they got the psp but sony and nintendo are killing the othere system i think they just there for show.2 of the og's will always run this gameing thing.

Nintendo are the biggest dev/publisher, followed by EA, Sony and then Sega.

Nintendo are the biggest console seller followed by Sony and Microsoft.

Microsoft is the richest company in the world followed by a few non games related companies.

Sega are the biggest arcade machine maker followed by Namco (excluding casino machines).

ps1 - the best

ps2 - the best even better

ps3 - its taking the way to the best of this gen

The most dominant gaming company is EA. They sell more games than anybody.

But as far as quality is concerned Nintendo is the best.
