Well here's the thing. When the site was heavily pro 360 there was no censoring of news. All news articles got approved regardless of pro/anti/informative/rant/PS3/360/etc news. When it was approved it stayed approved. Now-a-days it is censored. There is no revenge tactics here it is just a bunch of hogwash and is just plain stupid.

Bloodmask may like one console more than the other but I pretty sure everyone is that way. Last time I checked Bloodmask submits more than just PS3 is for loser articles I read more Wii and DS news from him then stock brokers talking about how PS3 isn't doing well. Which by the way is what that one article he posted on the OP was about. Who ended up failing that because it is a real article and not spam!

For every 50 posts in the main site maybe there are 2 okay ones. Gamer Zone vs Open Zone has no difference other than bubble count.

Honestly I think were are missing the real problem. N4G is being overun by fanboys. Problem is most of the Ps3 fanboys are nothing more than little annoying prepubesent children. You can tell by their comments are their general lack of respect.

Off the top of my head there was that awesome exchange between Bloodmask and Dirtysouf, but there were more examples none of which I feel like digging for but just go back like 200-300 something days and you'll see. Pretty much every positive story was flooded with the usual suspects spouting the same **** and cliche'd insults. Much like now, just the opposite side has increased in numbers.

I'm not condoning it because both sides are just as bad, I'm just saying it's not entirely unwarranted. Besides N4G wouldn't even exist if it weren't the the fanboys, the contributors who post sensationalistic stories know what they're doing. It's just for the degrees, and if it's "controversial" enough it will get them in droves, which in turn gets the monies. I can look at the title of an article and see that it's gonna be trouble from the front pages, if I really want to know what was discussed then I'll just view source from there without even seeing the comments and move on.

It's sad too because there are a ton of awesome and intelligent articles that get passed over because Cliffy B said something about MGS4. It's an N4G thing and that's not going to change because that's how the site works.

To be fair, the degrees and points garnered from front page articles
don't really matter anymore. I was unaware of that myself and someone
nicely told me about it.When it comes to the monies,it is the number of submissions that counts and not your contributor score.

I agree, i joined this site a few months ago being bored at work and i check it for news quite often.

I agree that nearly every thread is overrun by either fanboys from either side or mainly people posting things like "not as good as KZ2", even though they havent played KZ2, seen any in-game footage, nothing. I see this as blind fanboyism and it annoys me.

Sometimes the open zone is good for a laugh or two. I only post now when some idiot's post pisses me off, i dunno why though, i shouldnt care.

I guess its got worse now Sony fans have one or two good games to brag about and about 20 more 'coming soon' titles to mention in every news thread. This only makes xbox fanboys more angry and they put conflicting comments.

At the end of the day i dont care coz i have both a PS3 and a 360 and i'll say whatever i like about both.

i believe its a more technological version of the caveman days, what ever side was more powerful is the side everyone joined

when n4g was younger the 360 had a great and really superior lineup, but microsoft seemingly pumped out all its good games and now has nothign this year and it gives sony a fighting chance so everyone becomes a sony fanboy, sad really, when people are that weak and cant decide on what console is better when clearly they are both strong and have great games

What news get censored. Bloodmask and toughname had bio's like bad ps3 news is still news now they changed it. He accepts questionable stuff ALL THE TIME. He is affiliated with xboxkings and accepts their silly articles.

What i find funny most of all is the fact that he is the one complaining. Approx 6-7 months ago, when NG2 got announced some idiot made a comment like it looks better than crysis. I replied like "lol no it doesn't" and i mounted like 10 disagrees and lost a bubble and that is 7 months ago. When killzone footage was out for the first time and PS3 fanboys were freaking out, half of the people there were xbox fanboys to downplay the thing. PS3 owners have gone through this **** before and you reap what you sow end of story
