I think Second Life is more for people whose first ones suck, whereas Home is more or less a three-dimensional interactive extenstion of the features already on the PS3. In that respect, it's above and beyond, by a long shot. But of course, it goes without saying that Sony didn't come up with the idea. And I'm sure the Second Life creators weren't the first ones to imagine a network in which people can interact via the use of avatars. I don't think I'll use Home much anyway, I don't have as much time on my hands as I used to. My verdict: both will probably be relatively poo.
