    Come it is not just that.... there is also tradition to it and beliefs.... also it is bull **** about clubbing... it is one of the rare things that does happen but people like green peace pushes the clubbing thing....

    Yes, that's true in some cases, but from what I know, it's predominantly for the gain of the individuals engaged in such acts. I don't get involved in it, it's not my place to, but it's not really excusable. Same with whaling, even if the Japanese seem set on the idea that it's all for important research.

    EDIT: And for the record, I don't listen to environmentalist bullshit either, they're just as deceitful.

    Just it gets me that there is a lot of background and tradition and less about the money making than people think....
    People pick on Canada for it and there is just not enough information on it for people to understand the history of it....

    That said....my ass would never do it...I think they are cute but I would not have it in me to kill anything unless we have to... I am not be a dick about it just trying to say that there is more information out there on why they do this than the news would like us to know... also it makes for a great news story yes.... people seem to eat it up....

    As for the whales we don;t need any more research on them... If Japan wants the meat they should just say that abd honest with the people...

    But I do see about the seal pups I do see with both sides of the argument...
