ORIGINAL: harry190 Yes,gibberish and arrogance.I don't think you know m personally and have any idea of what I know or not. If you think I come here without any baggage, you are terribly wrong. I find your assumptions about my knowledge laughable. You have been the one using wrong data and erroneous facts. As for trends,I would like to hear more from you about why Microsoft is breaking from the usual ten-year plan that any business practices and brings it down to 4 years. Don't you think that would be a better subject of discussion or how people have the reflex of seeing every EA made product as cheap and 'wrong' or why die-hards still hate think Sony destroyed the 'Dreamcast'? We could talk about all of those and I'm sure you would still miss a point and try to evade the real questions by going off-topic. I would too, that's a normal reaction. The problem with this thread is that you came here with the intention of doing a little bashing and trot around like nothing happened. See,things change, like the industry. Concerning your ''Maybe you should study past the PS2 era of consoles, trends happen in the video game industry more often then you think.'': It is illogical in its conception since it contradicts itself. I would also like to learn what you really mean by the term 'trend'. I'm not willing to get back on-topic since I already made my point about this in my previous posts:Would be a good idea because of the investment. This thing needs to go through even if it means a thread lock. Things have been happening lately and I don't want to be passive anymore. Your right I don't know you personally. But lets calm down now. 1. A 10 year plan is a business model not the only business model, Microsoft fumbled with the Xbox and they needed a clean slate 2. EA has nothing to do with anything does it? Well maybe your taking a crack at the Dreamcast. You should of done it when Sony was at their height though, you don't have much to brag about now. 3. Wrong data? I used a quote from a marketing director within Microsoft, in case you haven't noticed you haven't used any data 4. Baggage? What did you get caught shoplifting? I'm sorry but this is irrelevant. 5. Trend? A reoccurring thing that happens in the industry. One is that the longest any company has held market dominance in the Console Industry is 2 generations. Atari, Nintendo, and now Sony are examples of this. 6. Diehards? What do you consider yourself? An unbiased lovable gamer? I liked the Dreamcast yes, but I owned a PS2 and a Gamecube last gen as well. What person would pass up good games? 7. I made a point so did you. If my point doesn't agree with you is it automatically bashing/trolling? The world doesn't revolve around you and I ain't gonna skimmy over eggshells for you either. 8. What **** is going down? Really PS3 will survive it will have games. What exactly are you wetting your pants about? Someone says something you don't like? 9. Are you that much of a corporate sheep? 10. Why do you keep mentioning the Dreamcast when I haven't brought it up? And you know what? At the end of this generation I'll have enjoyed games on all platforms. All have watched you troll and troll. I'll watch you cry as you lose exclusive after exclusive do to development costs. All watch you defend the PS3 against any attack. And I'll laugh. Because you shouldn't care. You should go to where games are. Brand Loyalty is for corporate whores. If really I was a Sega diehard I wouldn't own a console at this point but I do. When your console loses will you stop gaming entirely? Will you stay like the Amiga fans? Bitter and lonely? So much for the maturity. Ohh,the irony,me troll,me troll I cry. Your entire post reeks. Have I made you angry or something like that? I doubt it, someone possessing supreme intelligence like you....pssshhhhhhhhtttt.....how can I even dare. What do I need to brag about? You are the one crying wolf. Maybe you thing my father owns Sony or something like that, that being the reason I prefer Sony. Please, you can do better.Corporate sheep, wetting my pants,'cry as you lose exclusive after exclusive','corporate whores'. So because Bama said something that someone else copy-pasted,I should not prefer the PS3 over the other consoles? Please, try to say something even more unintelligent. Please,be kind, tell me:Was I supposed to laugh at the 'baggage' joke part? As much as you'd like to think that owning all consoles grants you the right to think of yourself as balanced or unbiased,it isn't the case. When you quote a Microsoft executive, why not use the words of dear Bill at the time of marketing the 360 and announcing the reasons to their entry in the consoles market. As far as the reason why I follow and appreciate the Playstation brand more closely than others,I will simply say that it makes more sense to me since the franchises I appreciate the most are made available only through it. I don't think you need to play all the games on every damn console out there to prove that you are a real gamer. This might explain my defensive stance when it comes to the PS3. I am being honest about it:I prefer it to anything out there at the moment. Does that make me a fanboy or even a closet fanboy? You decide,I'm going to risk a 'no'. Now if you come out and clearly state your preference, that might become less of an issue. That surely has gone off-topic.
