Right off the bat I said this would be locked or deleted(like so many others these past few days)

But I was wrong...maybe things are changing...

the only reason this thread was made was because of the SCG ban.
you didn't see this before that. mods are fine until they ban someome on your friends list.

lol...EVERYONE complains about the mods.

SCG was just the tipping point for everyone else.

As long as everyone is following the rules and stuff there is no reason for it to be locked.

dats some ol bull...until we are allowed to freely oppose mods/admin decisions, this will never be a democracy.  They put that rule in to cover their butts in case they did somethin stupid.  Like that one time my thread got locked for no reason, me and some kid were arguin over somethin, then we agreed to squash the beef, then it was locked, and this was after the first thread got locked b/c of some ppl comin in raisin hell.  I started a thread after that about how someone was goin lock crazy, then everyone was like "we dont know who did it, but you cant complain about it" or some bs like that

that is no where near a democracy sir

in that case, it doesnt make sense, because we me and the other person involved both agreed to stop bickering to KEEP IT FROM BEING LOCKED...i guess some mods look over some posts when they lock a thread.

i've never complained.
they do what they can. they're not machines and they have lives outside of this forum.

now they are labeled as the enemy or something.
SCG was a vet here and made some good posts and kept the community alive but that doesn't mean she gets a free pass to do what she pleases.

I like the fact Catastrophe is always quick and active and generally willing to help whenever she has the chance. She has become my favorite. Duke is cool too. I adore his no nonsense attitude. However, due to Cowgirl's ban, all mods fail.

She was only banned temporarily so she'll be back.

She has a one week ban, if anyone breaks the rules then you will be warned first then if you do it again then you will get a temp ban.

I agree most with ksmooches on this one, there is an inherent adversarial relationship and I am happy to fulfill that.

I have a particular problem with only one of the mods who felt it necessary to openly attack me in a thread (and this post would have certainly been deleted by a mod if the author wasn't a mod). When I asked for a PM if there was any problem with my posts/attitude, I didn't get one.

As to the other mods, no real problems. I preferred some of them as members before they were mods, others I didn't.

And I certainly agree that there is a lot of brown-nosing going on in this thread. I guess everyone has that lust for "power" on here, I just don't get it. Complain, complain, complain about the job mods are doing and then become a mod to do the same thing but it is somehow better because it is your decision. The entire system is flawed, not those filling the mod role.
