Well Maddens, I understand your e-bay concerns but in my own experience... I have never been ripped or received damaged goods from an e-bay seller...
It does happen though so make sure you only buy from a seller with over 20 real transactions and 99% + feedback score also read and double read the description for any loopholes.
I actually bought my 60GB Ps3 from ebay. I have also sold a Ps3 on ebay.
So consider that option if you want and also maybe look for one you could pick up instead of have shipped?

I wonder if the Wall Mart deleted the sku because they were not receiving any more units?

Like has been said previously, get a PS3 off of eBay. There are a large number of "retailers" on there with 100% reputation, a sizeable amount of transactions and a lot of good comments. They're normally the best to go for, 'cause you know they're legit. Either that, or get PlayAsia to send you one. xD

Yeah, I'll definitely be looking on eBay for the MGS4 bundle. I'm actually out of the door to Best Buy now to see if they have any in stock after the holiday as well (shipments ususally on Thursday). My sister bought me two white Dualshock PS3 controllers for Christmas and they never worked properly with my PS3. I wrote to Play-Asia and they asked me to send them back. 5 weeks later they emailed me back stating that nothing was wrong and they were sending them back to me. It's been 3 months since that time and I still haven't received them.
