With E3 just around the corner wait and see what happens there they may be price cuts a new design or r slim...

Personally I would go for the PS3 I owned a 360 and a PS3 at the same time.... and the more games that came out on my ps3 the less and less I used my 360....

I had 2 360 die on me... and one of the errors I got if I got it now would not fall under the RROD warranty and would have costed money to have it replaced...

a lot of people say that this warranty will have you back but it is something of a **** heel....

MS made a good platform the games are good and a lot of fun the online is really done awesome... with that said there is a lot of things wrong with the system that made me get rid of mine...

I would really look to the PS3 but that is me.... my experience with the 360 and PS3 help make me make my choice easy...

Free online
Hi def movies
EVERYONE has HDD this has always been a huge thing and my number one reason why I was disappointed with MS for not doing this in the first place on all system... I don;t understand why they thought splitting the user base like that was a good idea ....

The controllers have batteries in them you just plug and charge and play....
SD CF SMS all in the front now it is not on all systems and I know 90% of gamers will not use them but I do a lot and it is something I use more and more....

That said the 360 does have so great features... but like I said the more I play the PS3 the more the 360 just sat there... and than it died,....

I Suggest that you wait till after E3 and than I suggest that you rent both systems and a couple of games for each and make up you mind there... since renting will cost you a little more but it will save you from having o rely on other peoples opinion like myself....

Cheers and I hope you get to play some great games... because both systems do have that....

Go with the PS3 you wont regret it, it has alot of games that i know youre gonna enjoy, but im not going to waste my time making a fanboy list of everything using the "simple math"  approach...Btw in the long run youll end up spending more time and frustration on the 360, online is $50 a year and im predicting the 360 will begin to fall after Geow2 thats probably there last big hit while the PS3 is just getting started (and besides majority of people that have both a 360 and a PS3 like their PS3 more)

Ima add u wen ur online

I don't think half the fanboys that get accused of using multiple accounts actually do, they just keep bubbled up by PM'ing their fellow fanboys love letters. I remember being mistaken for a 360 fanboy and was sent a PM, referring me to other 360 fans for when I needed any more bubbles, if the PSTards take any away. That was great.

Well, seen the many PS3 fans that have 10 bubbles, they have a system like that in place. There aren't so many 360 fans with many bubbles, did you notice even that? All about on 5 and sometimes less. The story seems the other way around...

There are two member status on XBL, Sliver Member which is free but you can do everything a Gold member can do expect play games online like mutiplayer games. Gold member's like me pay £40 a year to download movies, content for games etc and play online games. Yes there are bundles for the Xbox 360, there are bundles for every console out there at the moment, just research the different bundles to see which one intrests you the most.

That's because the site is predominantly PS3 owners for some reason, so the PS3 fans are much more likely to get away with fanboyism. I'm not saying they don't do the bubble-love-letter thing, but I just think it's funny that (for lack of a better example) PoG had six bubbles despite not being able to comment without being bitched at, with countless people saying they've reported or ignored him. Also, the aforementioned PM sort of rules the 360 camp from total innocence (although, keep in mind I'm the only one who saw it, not that it's a big deal anyway), but for all I know, the guy who sent me the PM could just have been insane and making things up... or maybe I was just having a wonderful dream.

Although, we're going dangerously off-topic here, so I might just leave it at that.

Please do.

In regards to buying a 360 or not...

Statistically the Xbox 360 is the better gaming console. But the PS3 does offer a buttload of extra features.

I suggest buying a 360, but the PS3 has a lot of popular franchises that will someday be released (FF, God of War), so if your into those I suggest hanging on to your money until the PS3 is cheaper and the games mentioned above have a firm (and near) release date.

Or you could save your money for a little longer and buy both

I don't get it...explain please

by doing something with the switches the fan runs really loud and fast for 30 seconds or so removing any dust inside the system
do so at your own risk though, and definately dont do it to an 20, 60, or 80 gig

He might mean that the PS3 after the 2.40 update had to get a totally cleaned HDD because it had many problems. So people had to whipe their HDD's fully. Which also was a problem with GTAIV on the PS3. When online/UTP was attached and the single player story was played/saved, problems occured. Only solution: delete the gamesaves and start all over again (some people with 20 hours worth of gamesaves).

That kind of stuff is only on the PS3 up till now, and not only on the 40GB version.
