Status: offline 		Resistance 1 wasnt that great of a title, Resistance 2 will be better than KZ2 but yet again I doubt it will be anything really amazing.

I have also found it fascinating that people somehow think that bigger is always better, as someone who has played games like Battlefield and Joint Operations on the PC, both great titles in their own right which supported massive amounts of players on the battlefield, but they were certainly not somehow two or three times better than Halo because of it, a title which I would easily place amongst such greats.

It will be very Hard for R2 to over come Halo Combat Evolved.... That game was such a ground breaking game.... Like golden eye was.... as for Halo 2 I would say Yes easy R2 can beat that and than maybe Halo 3....

As for COD 4 Well as I see that game is to kit for this generation so far for this genre...on either system....

Resistance FOM was not stelar in any sense it had a great SP game and MP for me was just not fun at all...

That said R2 is looking good.... SP story looks more interesting now and MP looks better I know people are jazzed about 60 players and all but I thought 40 was a little over baring... that said... there is more to the MP this time around and more structure to it that it may be very kick ass... so I am excited to see what happens...

As for insomniac I think we can all agree fanboys or not that this company can make great games.... I am sure that this game will be great.... it has a chance to be stelar but lets play it first before we take the words of gamepro and wave them around claiming that this game is king of FPS....

gamespot and Cnet has taught us one thing... you can trust the media... Lets wait and make our own minds upp about the game..

Status: offline 		Graphically, mabey but call duty 4 will not be wiped out as Mitchell so subtly puts it. ihope that the 60 player coop doesent end up being a fragfest, becuase fuels of war supported 50 and the game wasn't really fantastic from what i've heard

Gameplay-wise, I don't know if any shooter will ever have mechanics like COD4. Resistance 2 will be deeper, no doubt about that, but Insomniac has their work cut out for them if they wanna stand up to the COD4 engine, being used in COD WAW. I didn't say COD4 would be wiped out, but visually Resistance 2 is going to set the bar for all games in general, the bar which will again be set by Resident Evil 5, then Killzone 2, then FFXIII, then God Of War III. Sony's lookin' good this year.

Yes because there were over 10 times at least better then Halo.

However...COD4 and Halo are both insanely good games...so I dunnoo if it will be better than both of them...

Don't hold out, go for it.

MGS4 is worth it. Resistance: FOM is about equal to Halo 3 IMO, but not as good as COD4. Get a PS3 and add Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank Future to your list.

Anyways I am anticipating R2, but I am wondering how 60 players online will be with team work and everything. But it should be pretty cool.
