So here I can be retro fanboy, right? Please forgive my fanboyism.

SNES SUCKS! Genesis is THE best console ever and is the true winner of its gen even if sales wise it didn't match SNES. It had the best games with best soundtracks and had Sonic which was and is AGES better than Mario.
Plus, Mortal Kombat only had the real gore and blood on the Genesis.

End of fanboyish rant.

I guess SNK just isnt making the money needed to fund Neo Geo so they had to port it to a superior system.

Typical Nintendroid just spouting off names because he is so insecure about his inferior hardware. All SNES received were dumbed down ports with washed out graphics and weak sound.

Only with the true power of SNK Neo-Geo can the next-gen truly begin.

SNK always made the best games. People were just too infatuated with Mario to realize.

I know it as 'Megadrive'. America always gets the dumb names.

Example:Street Fighter(and I laugh at you for that) Vega,MBison and Balrog mix-up--->extremely lame.

I blame lawsuits.

And Enix for turning Square into something horrible.

Super NES clearly had the superior fighters with games such as Killer Instinct and Street Fighter Turbo. You SNK bots enjoy your pitiful Aggressors of Dark Kombat. Real originality on the title SNK.

Only a console as powerful as the SNK Neo-Geo could be the home of some of the greatest fighting games of all times be made. Such as Samurai Shodown, KOF, World Heroes, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting.

Don't settle for dumbed down ports to the 'lesser consoles.' Play perfect arcade ports in the comfort of your own home...only possible with the superior hardware of Neo-Geo.

I have to go with the SEGA Genesis; it was simply revolutionary. Plus, you throw in the bloody Mortal Kombat, and it was gold. The true golden age of gaming. I am still waiting for SEGA to rise like a phoenix, and take part of the console wars. I'd much rather a SONY Playstation and a SEGA console than any other console combination.

Your lame console put out nothing but overrated and overpriced games. If you wanted a sports game, Neo Geo clearly is not your console. With lame games such as Street Slam. I'd rather be playing my Bill Lambieer Combat Basketball.

Fine, how about streets of rage? shinobi 3? phantasy star games? SEGA changed the way games looked and forced Nintendo to change. Games would never be the same after Genesis was born

Streets of GAYge? Ha! Dont make me laugh. Everyone knows Final Fight was 10X better. Shinobi is nothing more than a Ninja Gaiden knock off. Glad I have the remakes on SNES. Phantasy Star? ARE YOU SERIOUS SEGADROID? Phantasy Star cant hold a candle to Final Fantasy.

Real RPG's spell fantasy with an F, not a P.

really? cause i remember final fight sucking some large cojones after I played final fight. The Genesis killed nintendo in graphics, game size, etc.; nintendo had to follow it with the SNES. Which shows how unoriginal they were.. it was just an updated nintendo. All the games for the SNES were just updated nintendo games; or they just updated ports from the arcades. Everything revolved established games, series, characters. Come to think about it, Nintendo still does that.

.. the dreamcast... once again, SEGA should they were true visionaries. Amazing graphics, online capabilities.. what wouldv'e been hadn't the world been so traditional; so afraid of change.

. Ah well, we got playstation, so it was cool
