/fanboyism I can't believe that none of you fanboys are defending the greatest console of all time the turbografx machine. 5 players that is next gen. The turbografx could display up to 512 colors, now that is what it takes to be next gen. Snatcher, Bomberman, the YS games, Rondo of Blood. Now that is how you play beyond. /End fanboyism

Only a fool such as Dark Sniper would put his faith in a console with a crippled processor such as SNES. Only with the true power of the Neo-Geo can developers truly start to reach their creative visions.

That is ridiculous. The PCE SCD port of Snatcher (which came before the Sega CD version) had the same amount of acts and voice acting (which many thought was better voice acting, despite being in Japanese). I argue that the PCE version is better because of the graphics (more colors displayed at once in PCE version), argueably better music depending on your soundchip preference, and it was uncensored.

You can all probably judge from my post that I'm a Turbo fanboy to the max :) .

Ahhh...I think that now it's okay to bring that "old" fanboy inside me:

Sega Genesis slaughters the SNES!!! Got that, Dark Sniper?!?

In your dreams?

I never could understand for what reason people would love a console.
I for one always loved games and bought only those consoles which had games I wanted to play. That way I missed quite a few consoles, but I had most of games I wanted to play.
From consoles I owned (own) NES, SNES, PS, PS2, Xbox360, the console which offered the best gaming experience and still keeps me in gaming "mode" has to be PS.
So for me games wise PS is a winner. And only games matter, no?
