no, no they arnt. nintendo has released core titles but the games are not core. theyre to easy. the difficulty is the driving force behind my love for games. ill still play an rpg if its easy but i think of it as more book than game at that point. imo theyre not fun if theyre easy regardless of the story or design.

Difficulty is relative. Nintendo makes an incredible variety of games. If you want difficulty play Fire Emblem on Wii or DS. That game is one of the hardest series this gen. Its a Strategy RPG but when your character dies he cannot be revived. Play it on the hardest difficulty. I think were having a colision of opinion though. mine are obviously different then yours.

I really am confused, y'know. I sit there, happily playing my Wii, my PS3 and my 360. I sit in trains, cars and buses playing my PSP and my DS. I play everything from Elebits to Metal Gear Solid 4. I don't care if the game is "casual" or "hardcore". If I like the look of the game, I'll buy and play it. What's this obsession with the distinction between casual and hardcore games and gamers? I'm really confused.

Can someone please tell me why everyone is getting so angry? Surely you all realise that there are still "hardcore" games, right? Are you all really getting so angry because people who play games to pass time (as opposed to play games because they love doing it) are getting as much, if not more, attention as we are?

I totally argee with u, I play games that i like and I don't care if peole say it sucks or its "casual" or "hardcore"> i say that video games were made to be enjoyable and for fun and then comes all the gamewarlocks and they think its there life but there is so much more to do in life then to play video games. Do u understand what I mean I'm annoyed with this battle I'm not mad yet..... but stop with the hate!

What about Santa? There's no way Santa could have planned for all this. What if the new kids make more and better cookies. Maybe Santa will give all the toys to them and you won't get any. :( Santa won't care about you anymore.

It just doesn't make any sense to me... I love games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Call of Duty 4. Geometry Wars, Ninja Gaiden 2... I love them to bits! But I also love the kinds of games people call "casual" 'cause they're a piece of piss to pick up and play for a few minutes. I mean, look at games like Nintendogs. That's a game that won't interest any hardcore gamer, yet I still bought it. I still play it too, even if only for a short period of time whenever I just want something to pass time...

See thats what I mean, why don't people just do that?. I have Nintendogs too and play it, i have Wii Sports and play it I have Mario and I love it but does that make me a bad gamer?
