ORIGINAL: harry190 I didn't mean it like that either. People talk about the PS3 and 360 as a tough platforms to develop on very costly. However,I myself, had I been a developer would feel that it is even worse to develop on the Wii due to the 'innovative' features of the console. it require a break from the norm and a lot of time and effort to come out with a good concept. Also I do feel that the flood of awful mediocre and very basic games has obviously affected the Wii's reputation. If you look at the pas 6 months, you can count the number of hardcore Wii games on your fingers. People feel like the Wii and Nintendo isn't helping in this case all casual. And now,you so happen to come on a website, mostly inhabited by 'harcore' gamers...it is no surprise that you will find this. What he's saying is that with the Wii you can't have good graphics cover up the fact that many developers don't have talent. You have to be creative. Believe it or not most people in this industry have little to no talent. With the SNES people stopped caring about 2d graphics because they were "good enough" many developers failed and it became a battle of ideas, Nintendo wants to recreate this because they think 3d graphics have become "good enough". Harry is probably a good developer though, I'm just saying in general.
